I don't really have anything against techniques like digital drawing, but for me its easier to draw traditionally (not like I can do much though...). For example, a watercolor drawing looks much better traditionally, even if there are pencils or tools to make it digitally as well. Still, digital has several interesting tools to give drawings other view or details. I see my sister draw human faces in a very realistic way boy traditional and digitally, the talent is there but she manages to dominate both techniques to fit her methods. So yeah, I think both digital and traditional have different effects, depends on how you use them, but you recquire ability to dominate either of them, and mix your own ways with the technique itself to create something unique.
A tutorial series I am creating for the absolute beginner. I don't have any specific aim at this and information usually applies to all sorts of creators. I will cover everything from printing, margins and color modes to scripting, inking and storyboards and WAY MORE!
