We headed out the gates, and i smiled at the thought of seeing the preppy girl again, I really liked her. Elijah noticed me smiling and raised an eyebrow at me, i shook my head at him.

"Show me where the shops are and then you can go find the girl you started drawing" Elijah said smirking, my face red. 

"Whatever, but there are some pretty guys here, if you're interested" i said chuckling, he huffed at me and i lead him to the shops and left him there as i went on a search to find her. I went to where i found her originally and she was talking to some other girl, they seemed to be having a nice conversation. I paused, i went to turn around and head back to the shops when the girl shoved mine. I snarled and watched to make sure i was in the correct in assuming that this was a fight. I panicked when the other was about to hit the girl i liked, i jumped forward and grasped her hand snarling. 

Everyone stopped as i glared the girl down, she was irritated.

"Thank you" I heard pretty girl whisper, I nodded and pushed the other girl back. 

"you shouldn't hit people" I snapped at her, she huffed at me and stomped away. I turned back to pretty girl, i looked her over to make sure was ok. She smiled at me. 

"My knight in shining armour" she said giggling, i smiled. 

"I'll always be there, and if not you can always rely on me to beat the shit out of anyone who is mean to you, you are so gorgeous" I stated, She giggled.

"Come on, everyone is staring let's go back to my place" She offered holding her hand out, i nodded and grabbed her hand. We walked back casually, her house was a 2 story. She opened the door and let me in, I looked around it was really nice here. 

"So do you have a name, mysterious girl?" She asked me, i laughed. 

"It's Liam, but you can call me Lia" i said winking, she laughed

"I'm Monica, what time do you have to be back in heaven?" she asked, i paused. 

"That was so bad, but it's a start" I said grinning, she smiled and bounced up and down 

"Ok lay it on me, give me your best line" She said and sat down, she patted the spot next to her. I smiled and sat down. 

"Is your father an alien?" i asked smirking, she paused. I continued 

"Because there is nothing else like you on Earth" I groaned internally at how bad it was, but Monica liked it. We continued talking for a while until it was night and i realised i had a curfew. 

"Monica, i have to go. But I'll be back for you" i said winking, she grinned. 

"Bye Lia" she said waving as i left, i smiled to myself and headed back to school. 

I groaned as i saw the gate closed, i sighed and climbed it and jumped over carefully. I dashed to the wall with our window, i carefully climbed up it and tapped on our window, Elijah was not impressed as he opened the window and let me in. 

"Where have you been?" he snapped at me, i sighed and took my jumper and shirt off and switched to something more comfortable. 

"With the girl i started drawing" I snapped at him, he sighed and sat on the bed, he was clearly upset. I paused

Elijah was sad,

That was new, he was never sad or at least never showed it like he was doing right now. I sat next to him, he shifted awkwardly. 

"What happened" i whispered to him, he looked away. 

"Nothing, go to bed" He snapped getting up, i sighed of course he wouldn't tell me, it wasn't like i was his twin or anything. I got up and lay on my bed, I turned over and fell asleep.
