"In recent news, a new event seems to have started outside of the Melis Kingdom. Reportedly in the East Meadow, a grey furry object has been seen bounding it's way north. Players have attempted to stop or capture this unidentified object to examine it closer, but have so far had no luck in catching up or closing the distance."
"It appears that Melis is the place to be for events so soon into the game, we have had the Kings reception; The mysterious fountain man, so far no information has been uncovered about this particular event but it is suspected to be linked to the dead bodies found in the City wells. And finally, this new event that we are now calling 'The Grey furred shadow.'"
"Please keep tuning in for more information and news, but for now enjoy leveling. Bye for now from Ingame news team feed, I am SirNewsel going to log off and get some food."
Aspir swiped across closing the news feed, closing it, this strange grey event sounded like something that he definitely wanted to avoid.
Aspir had continued heading east, traveling further along the forest's edge. Encountering the occasional enemy he managed to boost his exp nicely but still hadn't found a good location to train with a lot of Monsters.
Deciding to change his tactics Aspir headed into the forest slightly more, being vigilant of his surroundings in case he encountered an enemy that he couldn't handle.
Breaking past a line of trees and pausing to stare, Aspir was amazed at what he saw. Hidden inside the edge of the forest, was a miniature meadow surrounded by trees and bathed in sunlight. The ground rose towards the centre displaying a tall hillock with a Golden furred Horned rabbit sleeping upon a rock, surrounded by other Horned Rabbits playing together in the grass.
The golden rabbit lay upon its rock, sparkling in the light its shiny coat glistened. Its majesty unchallenged when compared with the other Rabbits. It was king among its peers.
Aspir was amazed at the sight, it truly looked too realistic, he wanted to pinch himself to check that he wasn't dreaming. But he couldn't risk losing any health points. Instead, he took a picture using the in-game camera so he could have it printed and used as a poster.
Taking a step from the forest, he emerged into the meadow.
<You have entered Meadow hidden in the forest>
<A rare sight for any adventurer. The meadow in the forest is considered to be a myth as many claim to have seen it but have no proof. The adventures guild is willing to offer a reward for any proof that this place does exist.
<You have encountered rare Meadow monster 1/5>
<Golden Horned Rabbit>
<Truly a rare sight. This rabbit is known for its elusiveness and beauty, even the smallest part of its fur will drive tailors wild due to its scarcity and golden hue. The rabbit is known to be highly protected by its own kind and capable of guiding them>
<You have entered a Non-peaceful setting: Enemies will actively attack>
Aspir smiled to himself. It seemed that he had found a good area to level up in, hopefully he could claim the reward from the adventurers guild if he brought back some golden fur.
Having stepped foot inside the Meadow Aspir carefully observed his surroundings, surprisingly there weren't any Rabbits near him, they all seemed to be surrounding the Golden rabbit keeping it company.
But how would he draw some of them away?
Creeping around the Meadow, Aspir poked through the trees looking for a suitable spot to start his plan. Around the Meadow on the other side of the hillock was a large group of boulders lying in a ring, hidden from Aspirs first point of view.
Standing taller than Aspir himself, they would act as an effective cage, as long as the rabbits couldn't jump out. If he managed to draw some rabbits to the boulders then he could hide in their shade and wouldn't alert the rabbits atop the hillock as well.
But what could he use for bait? That's when it hit him, a good idea literally hit him.
-1 HP
Looking down at his feet, Aspir saw a small Baby horned rabbit attempting to chew through his shoe, it must have drawn close when he was scouting the meadow.
The little rabbit was happy, it had defended its golden king from this strange intruder, it had bitten with all its power but this strange tall being was surprisingly resilient. Looking up the rabbit froze, the eyes looking down at it were the ones described by its Dam in the burrow. Eyes that showed no sympathy upon seeing their cute god given looks and bushy tails, instead those eyes would look upon them only waiting to inflict despair and destruction.
<Enemy of the doe eyed Minor + has successfully scared Baby horned rabbit>
<Baby horned rabbit paralyzed from fear>
Grinning savagely Aspir bent down and picked the Rabbit up by the scruff of the neck, now he only needed a bit of preparation.
Top of the Hillock
The Rabbits were bounding around, playing in the light reflected from their King, life was fun and easy for them. One rabbit further away from the others was watching below, at the first sign of danger they would attack swiftly or retreat into the safety of the burrow dependent on his warning.
*Squeal*
That's when the rabbit heard it, the squealing of a Kit. Bouncing to the edge of the Hillock the rabbit could hear It below, the sounds coming from the boulders below. The Kit was squealing in pain, trapped inside the ring of boulders, it must have fallen in and hurt its leg. Though the rabbits usually avoided the boulders due to the potential predators, it had no choice.
Bounding down the Hillock, it ran to the boulders, clambering up the cold stones it looked down spotting the young kit. Curled into a little ball it lay unmoving. Leaping in, the rabbit ran to the Kits side.
Only to receive an unexpected surprise.
<You have hit Lvl 1: Adult horned rabbit: 29/40 HP>
<11 damage inflicted>
<Adult horned rabbit status: Crippled>
As soon as the Adult rabbit paused at the kits side, Aspir had sprung into action using his shield like a bat and hitting the rabbit against one of the opposite boulders. Following up quickly before the rabbit could retaliate he impaled it upon his sword, raising it high into the air so its squealing could echo further away.
<21 damage inflicted>
<Lvl 1: Adult horned rabbit: 08/40 HP>
<Adult horned rabbit: Crippled/Bleeding>
General Cottontail knew when something was wrong, the squealing of a buck rang in his ears and the sentry he posted was gone. Being a grizzled veteran of the squirrel wars and leader of his Majesties army he needed to act quickly for the good of the Burrow.
Thumping his feet on the floor, he sent the signal.
The rabbits re-organised. Three small squadrons lined up. Letting out small fierce shrieks, General Cottontail issued his commands. Squadron A and B were to patrol and defend the area, whilst Squadron C's duty was to protect his Majesty atop the hillock.
Bounding off to fulfill their roles, Squadron A headed down the southern side of the Hillock heading towards the forest whilst Squadron B headed down the northern side, towards the boulders. Both ready for war. Squadron C remained stationary protecting their king, ready to sacrifice themselves at a moments notice.
Aspir in the shadow of the boulders was oblivious to the rabbit squadrons, he simply waited in the shadows playing with the horn he had just obtained.
<You have defeated Adult horned rabbit>
<3Exp obtained>
<You have obtained Adult horned rabbits Horn>
<Is seen being used by many Young Goblins due to its pointy end. Can penetrate bare flesh but does little against armours of any kind. Can be processed but use depends on crafter>
<Grants attack + 1 if wielded in hand. Will break upon strong impact>
Squadron B came to the boulders. Scrambling up they peered down and saw the body of their comrade in arms, not seeing any enemies they jumped down to inspect the ground and figure out what was attacking them.
Aspir was stunned as he watched 4 rabbits jump down in unison and inspect the Adult rabbits corpse lying on the floor. What shocked him, even more, was the system prompt that came up next.
<Meadow hidden in the forest now in state of war>
<General Cottontail has detected an attack from an unknown intruder and prepared his troops. They will defend their Majesty to the last rabbit>
Of all the things to happen, why couldn't he have one normal day?
Observing the rabbits in front, the game revealed their stats.
<Rabbit Squadron B>
<Lvl 2: Adult horned rabbit: 50/50 HP>
<Lvl 0: Adult horned rabbit: 25/25 HP>
<Lvl 0: Adult horned rabbit: 25/25 HP>
<Lvl 1: Adult horned rabbit: 40/40 HP>
Aspir knew he had to be careful, even with his 7 defence he still didn't know how hard the Adult rabbits could hit. Now he regretted not testing the damage output from the previous rabbit.
Making a quick plan of action in his head, Aspir knew he had to inflict as much damage as possible before the fight got into full swing.
Once again attacking out from the shadows of the boulder, Aspir swung hard and strong as he targeted the level 2 rabbit. Enhancing it further by buffing his weapon with equipment enhancement, encasing it within a hazy blue glow.
<28 damage inflicted>
<Lvl 2: Adult horned rabbit: 22/50 HP>
<Lvl 2: Adult horned rabbit: Bleeding/weakened>
His sword connected slicing through fur and flesh. Carrying his assault further he battered the rabbits with his shield and body, sending them further into disarray.
-4HP
-9HP (Pierce)
The rabbit's retaliation knocked him down to 90HP, the first had been a glancing scratch as one of the rabbits aimed at his leg but missed as he moved. The second attack being the rabbit who launched itself through the air impaling the edge of his thigh.
Swiftly swinging his sword down Aspir cleaved the rabbit stuck in his leg in half. Whilst they had higher damage due to their Horns they had no defence at all from their cute fluffy bodies.

Hopping as fast as they could around him, Squadron B's plan was to confuse and delay him until reinforcements arrived.
Aspir lashed out with foot and sword, managing to stamp one rabbit into the ground and nick another across its hind legs as it jumped by, causing it to collide with a boulder.

<Lvl 2: Adult horned rabbit: 17/50 HP: Bleeding/Weakened>

<Lvl 0: Adult horned rabbit: 0/25 HP: Died by stomp>
<Lvl 1 : Adult horned rabbit : 27/40 HP : Stunned>
2 of the 4 remaining, Aspir being mindful of his stamina sprang forward. The faster and more often you attack in combat, the faster your stamina depletes whilst controlled and planned attacks drain it slower.
Impaling the stunned rabbit first, he then turned around to finish the other rabbit only to see it thumping its foot weakly on the floor. The slow bleeding damage he had inflicted was working.
<3Exp obtained>
<Lvl 2: Adult horned rabbit: 12/50 HP: Bleeding/ Severely Weakened(Cause blood loss)>

Aspir sat on the floor. The short but frantic combat caused him to feel slightly tired, despite his ambush Squadron B had managed to shave 22HP from him. Even though he still had 78HP he wondered what would have happened if more had arrived.
He really had to remember to use equipment enhancement. Crossing his legs, Aspir began his meditation to regain his health and mana.
Forest Meadows Southern edge
Whilst the thumping had not been discern-able to Aspir, Squadron A's senses were much more developed. Feeling the reverberations through the soil, General Cottontail recognized it as a call for help. Shrieking at his soldiers he sent them off to aid Squadron B, he would finish their current foe.
<lvl 2 : Forest Raccoon>
They had encountered it attempting to sneak up the Hillock whilst their sentry was gone, it was undoubtedly after access to the burrow. Wanting their young who were currently growing in there.
General Cottontail would never let it close, with a loud shriek he rocketed forth barrelling into the raccoon sending it further down the hillock. He only prayed that his soldiers could hold out until he was there, for on his honor he would defeat all intruders.
HAD TO SPLIT INTO 2 PARTS AGAIN SORRY
