Is an etiquette most people now withhold

"You're welcome" to "no problem"

Thank yous nonexistent

What world would it be

When no one says "please"?

The small things build up

One by one

I can't hep but wonder,

Will something as simple as pleasantries soon be gone?

A simple yes to an effortless yeah

I hope all manners become so blah

Because even a smile and a wave

Can easily make someone's day
