The alley was left in a state of chaos and covered in the man's blood and when she left, another woman appeared from the shadows.
"You lost it, you lost it," Krow cawed with excitement. It didn't bode well for him as his master moved her hand and knocked him off. That wasn't enough to keep him down as he got back up on her shoulder.
"Shut up you god forsaken bird. It appears my prey was eaten by another hunter. That means, a strong opponent, and my next prey," she smiled. She held a smirk on her face, as if this was the best thing she had ever seen, or tasted in a long, long time.
Fate's hands had started to turn into a course that would not and could not be stopped. The end of the situation would become total turmoil and chaos. What happens now, should grow into deep despair before it gets' better.
"Come Krow, we'll be in trouble if the police saw this mess," she stated and started to walk from the alley.
"Coming Lady Alice," Krow followed quickly.
As this whole mess began to let up, a group of boys came into the alley. They were shouting a name, Bran, from the top of their lungs.
The young woman began to open her eyes, she was a little foggy and couldn't exactly remember what was going on.
"Bran!" one of the group members exclaimed. She sat up and looked around her, she was in an alley and the only thing she really saw was the corpse pieces.
"Waaaah," she screamed as the group came running up to her.
"What's the matter?" the leader asked as he saw his sister in the sight she was in. She had her shirt open revealing her white satin bra, her skirt was down as well as her underwear revealing more than enough.
The group became compelled to attack her, but their leader would do more than just kill them.
When she looked at them, she looked down and had an even bigger scream. She quickly covered up and looked at them with embarrassment and hate.
"What happened to you?" her brother asked.
"I…I can't remember," she stammered as her eyes filled with tears because of her current state.
He lifted her up into his arms. She was his only family left, and he didn't want anything bad to happen to her. That's why he doesn't usually let her out of his sight.
"B…big brother?! You can let me go!" she exclaimed.
"Not until we're safe at home, you had me worried," he stated.
She was happy, but flustered. She knew she had forgotten something, and that something was important to remember. Not everything is important, but she knew that there was something she needed to do.
They walked from the alley and left the scene. At that time the police finally came to the alley, it was under an anonymous tip about a scene that had happened. It was from a strangely dressed teenage girl who looked like she could kill someone with just a glance.
Back at the department an officer read off the findings from the scene.
"Inspector, it seems the tip had justification. It's a male Caucasian who we've been trying to track for the past three months," a lesser officer stated as he held up the report.
"You mean that fool who went around raping young women and calling himself Jack the Ripper?" the inspector asked.
"That exact one," the other officer stated.
"I see," he let out a breath filled with smoke from his cigar, "was there any witnesses?"
"No sir, we cleaned up the scene to where it looks like nothing had happened there too," his subordinate stated.
"Good, this doesn't go anywhere but our department. If the higher ups find out, then our whole city will become an investigation. We don't want that happening," the inspector stated.
"Yes sir," the lesser officer stated and went back to the files he was working on.
This man is Inspector Edward Davis, a man who watches his fair city. Out of all the corrupted police, his station is the only one not taking bribes. His goal in life is to stop the criminals from overrunning his home, but every time there is something happening.
"What a dreadful sight, if only I could officially purge this city of all its vile villains," he breathed out another puff of smoke.
Beyond time and space, many people come to one place in order find a better life. It's no different for criminals and humans running from something. The things they sacrifice, and the world they live in will all find themselves in the center of chaos one day.
A young child dressed in a full white dress that reached to the floor. Her feet wore black boots, and attached to the back of the dress was a pair of off white wings. Her blonde hair pulled into twin, high tailed ponytails, sat on a moving train. The ride had been bumpy for quite awhile now, and as they came closer to the station, it began to smooth out a bit.
"Elesa, are we going to have fun in this city?" a fox asked. He was sitting across from the girl who was stairing blankly out the window. The train was coming into the station slowly, her eyes too focused to realize anything around her.
The train began to slow, as a man came to stand next to the young child. "Are you alright?" he asked and she staired up at him. Her eyes void of all emotion. Her facial expressions becoming darker by the minute.
A lot of people were curious, they had been nervous about what to do with a lone child who just sat there without a word, without moving a muscle.
"You're dirty," she finally said, her eyes changing from the void to an emotion filled with hate, "all of you are. Every last human, all filled with the sins of their masters and the reasons for what made them that way," she was starting to lose herself in the furry that had created her.
"Excuse me?" he asked, nervous about this girls mental state, but he didn't have much of a thought as she stood up and pointed her finger at his head.
"You should just die, like the trash you are," she smiled and his whole head was blown clear off. The body fell to the floor with a thud, and everyone was frozen in their seats. It was unbelievable that a child would do this, but she did it with only her body as a weapon.
She spun around and did the same thing to all the other passengers. She did this until not a single passenger remained breathing. The only thing that was strange was that she remained clean from the red stained color. Not a single spot was seen on her person, even as the cart was overflowing with the red color river.
She was spinning around and around in the blood stained train car. She was giggling uncontrollably when the train came to a stop.
"Let your soul darken more," the fox smiled as they left the train car, and left the station. No one would remember the face of this child, nor her get up, even after the car would be found. And the people who would have a small memory of such a little girl, they would forget it when the police arrive. She would be long gone as the police go out searching for the villain who made the mess of the car. That's how life and fate work, they sometimes favor the vile human beings over the enforcers of the law.
"Wolf, I'm hungry," the young child whined. After her episode, she returned to her normal self. She was a curious child who was also hyper. Even if she seemed dark, nothing could stop that aspect of her personality.
"You shouldn't have gone overboard with your powers then," the fox stated.
"Come on, locate the best place in town. It'll be fun," she smiled as she probed the small, black fox.
"Ah, again with this. You don't even have money," he stated.
"Yes I do," she smiled as she held out three wallets that she took from her victims.
"Go three blocks down and you'll enter the shopping district. You'll find a place to eat there," he stated and she ran with excitement. She ran so hard that she ran into a woman.
"Ah, don't run," the woman stated, she was oddly able to keep her place and not fall.
"I'm sorry miss, I'm Elesa, no last name," the child smiled.
"I'm Alice, now why is a child running around without your parents?" she asked.
She looked up at the woman, "I don't have any. I'm here by myself," she smiled.
The woman sighed, her thoughts continuing to wonder about the child. She knew nothing good would come from a punk on the street. She didn't know what to do.
"Well Miss Alice, I'm going to eat. See you around," she smiled and ran off.
The woman looked to the running figure, "So long as it doesn't involve me," she stated and walked away.
Without realizing it, fates hands began to shift closer to the end result. Nothing could stop it once the ticking clock began to ring. For everyone, their fates have begun to intertwine, until it is at its darkest color, and then, it'll turn even darker until it envelopes the world. That is what it means to be fates watchers. No matter how dark or stained you become.
