It's fitting that HC is updating this week...cos its mental health awareness week! So just to say...if you ever have any mental health issues, don't be ashamed of them. It's more normal then you think, it's not as scary as you think to go get a problem fixed. And as expressed in this comic, therapists are nice normal people who just want to help other nice normal people! So if you're ever feeling unwell and feel ashamed or weak for getting help, remember that it's no different then going to fix a broken leg- go to the doctors and take care of yourself <3
For those want to seek help for their problems- CBT and talking therapy, combined with medication, can make a huge difference! But it takes time. So don't get down on yourself if you dont magically get better right away! Theres many ways to approach problems, but they all take time. If you cant afford therapy or medication, CBT is a good step to take that's free- try phone apps or websites that can teach you CBT techniques for yourself.
Sorry for the mini-pamphlet lol. This stuff is important though~
Devin Beckett is taken to a psychiatric clinic, after being convicted of a brutal murder he swears he didn't commit. The new patient doesn't think he's unwell, but that won't stop anyone else from thinking so- what kind of truths will he uncover about himself and the other patients in his stay at the hospital?
