Younger demons are known as Fawnn, they remain fawnn till their 200th birthday when they gain the natural ability to survive harsher climates.

Fawnn have always remained in hell for this reason, only leaving home when their fragile bodies can handle it.

Its at the age of 200 they venture to the Overworld (earth) to learn about humanity and blend into society until they find their soul(s)

Kris however did not arrive on earth at the age of 200. She arrived when she was 18.

Unfamilliar with the landscape, she wandered until she came across a small diner.

Starved from her journey she looked for any form of sustinace, rummaging through old leftovers.

It was there she met Iris.

Iris who had been a mother once before, recognized the age of the Fawnn.

She brought her in and looked after her needs before questioning why a baby was without her parents.

Kris explained that her parents had vanished, that they were probably dead.

Iris decided to adopt her for the time being, until she could figure out why.

Iris noted that Kris had many similarities to her own.

While her horns confirmed they were from different districts, their tails both shared the same marks, red indicating that Kris was more Pyro than Dark. But if they shared the same charm then there might have been more reason for the small demon to be abandoned to the harsh climate of Overworld.
