Day 7: Andi entered the clock shop where she worked. Her uncle owned the shop and offered her the job to run the cashier while he fixed the gears and knobs that controlled everyone in the sleepy town. It didn't matter if she was there or not. No one ever entered the empty shop. Andi just listened to the endless cacophony the clocks made. It was a harsh orchestra that seemed to cackle at her heart, "Time is running out! Is today the day?" No. Today wasn't the day. It never was.
