The second batch of character profiles! Click "more" to read my rambling about determining their races, because I like tying geography with mythology!
I had a lot of fun researching different European/African countries for Athena and Hermes, since I'm trying to make them all slightly different depending on my headcanons for their appearances and who their dad hooked up with. I chose Hermes' because his mother in mythology, Maia, is an "Atlantide," or daughter of Atlas, and Nigeria has a coast on the Atlantic. Athena's mother was Metis, Zeus' first wife, so since she was of the "Oceanid" titans, so I chose Ethiopa, which is just *barely* landlocked and represents Athena being tethered to her father! Anyway, that's it for now. I have a three day weekend, so I want to be able to sketch out the first episode, but I doubt I'll be able to because I have homework I haven't started on. ; ) Stay in school kids!
