FRIGGIN' HECK THIS IS FINALLY DONE. I'M NEVER DOING ANOTHER MONSTER LIKE THIS EVER AGAIN. *ahem* Anyway...This was kinda inspired by one of the inktober doodles I did last year. And then I did two more pen scribblings that gave me the idea to do something like this (one in particular where it's Alcina snatching her skirt away from Mewtwo). Working in b/w was also kinda new for me, as I've always been rather colorful with my digital stuff, so I learned a lot with this.
AUTHOR NOTES:
- Alcina looks weird in black and white
- Mewtwo usually wears normal prosthesis but Alcina took them away for a bit to force Mewtwo to learn/practice levitation
- Heph hasn't really ever made prosthetics for a kid before, so he's doing his best to be gentle
- These kind of prosthetics are the "domestic" kind; they're built more for everyday life (walking and getting things done around the house, etc). The prosthetics that Mewtwo wears in-comic are battle prosthetics and those are sturdier and heavier than the domestic kind.
- Heph has taught Mewtwo how to do a lot of things like crossing your arms when you're mad, juggling, and how to give really good hugs.
