Serin and Leo try to make their home of the Desert sound terrible so she would want to go home. Unfortunately, Leo has a big mouth and Wahida has no interest in abandoning her quest.
"This isn't important, right!?"
"No not at all cuz I'm totally right and their belief system is primitive, ignorant, and downright stupid."
"I'm going to come down off my high horse, er cama, and teach you a thing or two!"
Ah... there's nothing better than bonding and educating someone through attacking and insulting one another's belief system!
Her whole life, Princess Wahida has prayed for passage to “Suihira,” the holy City of Water, lost to time and myth. When the goddess Akia appears before her and declares Wahida to be worthy of her city, the zealous princess doesn’t think twice before venturing into the wilderness.
However, Princess Wahida quickly finds she needs more than faith to brave the harsh journey.
After leaving her father’s kingdom, she is greeted by all the desert has to offer: bandits, liars, and enemies she could have never imagined.
