I LOVE Patreon.
It's a great and reliable way to support people whose work you enjoy. I'm also a huge fan of it as a personal blog, a way to share behind the scenes content or comics I'm not sure about posting with a trusted few. I feel like a lot of people would feel the same way if they knew how it worked.
I think a lot of people are either too new to the Patreon system to trust what it is, or don't feel like they have the disposable income to support creators they love. Which is fine! Support when and if you can, and if you WANT to. Enthusiasm for supporting creators is paramount and giving should never be a chore.
