In this day and age, the word "caution", for some of us, translates in "cowardice". Funny to see how the ones who seem to think it that way are the most rich or healthy people of them all.
Eh. There's balance. Those rich and healthy people make choices others consider wholly dangerous recklessly or BRAVELY, and maneuver their way to the riches beyond by luck or SKILL. They don't generally, as far as I know, decide to, *ehem*, jump down a dark hole that could be 3 stories deep with sharp rocks at the bottom.
However, they may use their knowledge of a situation, exceeding their peers, to make SEEMINGLY ridicules decisions, like jumping down a dark hole, based on a reasonable confidence in a positive outcome. Or lack of options and the refusal to stagnate, which is also often quite reasonable.
Or they get lucky. Though, it's important to remember that Lonesome Luck tends to not survive if they befriend bad influence like Reckless Abandon and Debt instead of making good friends like Wits, Stolid Composure, and Considerate Insight.
What could you say about a nomad?
Not much, really...no future, no past...just the desert, and whatever there is behind the next dune. And maybe...just maybe...out there there's a nomad in search of a companion.
