That feeling when your girlfriend is also your opponent. ("Eat my bubbles" is swimmers' way of saying "eat my dust!") I’ve raced against Paralympians before and it was so fun. They’re bunch of cool people. (No- deaf people aren’t part of Paralympics because we decided to have our own: Deaflympics. Though- I wish we deafies are part of Paralympics. That’s a long discussion for another time hah)
[Image description: It’s drawn in a comic style, about Paralympics. Two female swimmers are trash talking each other. Both are double-leg amputated. Canadian swimmer is in a wheelchair and other swimmer, from Brazil, is not. Brazilian swimmer is also double-arm amputated. Panel one: Canadian swimmer said, “I’M GONNA KICK YOUR BUTT!” Brazilian swimmer replied, “Nah nah! You’ll be eating my bubbles!” Panel two: A close up of both. Canadian said, “And…” Brazilian said, “Good luck, love!” Both kissed.]
Hey all! I decided to participate in the #the100dayproject over on instagram. It's a drawing a day for 100 days challenge. It's heavily focused on illustrations of people who are disabled and/or queer. We need more disability and queer representation :)
I'm uploading them all on here for your enjoyment.
