As Madam Cladessence admired the sparkles of fairy dust in the air and watched the jackal bears play with their friends, she heard a knock at the door. She opened the door. Standing there was her husband, Sir. Charmaine.
Sir. Charmaine said, “the kids don't want to get out of bed.”
“...But they must get ready for school,” Madam replied.
Madam walked back into the sparkling room, reached behind tree in the corner, and pulled on a gold lever.
Singing golden butterflies roamed out the sparkling room and sround the house, swaying rainbow colored flowers bloomed from the walls of the hallways, dancing green kangaroos hopped from room to room, and opera singing fairy sparkles filled every nook of the house. Each child, Ariannayea, Peneloprecious, and Jacoterrence woke up to the magic commotion and the smell of the morning feast coming from the kitchen downtown stairs. Each one of their rooms were filled with summer flowers, sparkling trees, singing sparkles, and dancing creatures. It was an amazing and joyful sight to see.
“Now, are they awake,” Madam Cladessence said to Sir. Charmaine with a smile on her face.
Sir. Charmaine returned to the hallway, knocking on each child's door. Madam returned to the sparkling room, but when she turned around the three jackal bear were no where in sight. Her face looked puzzled with confusion. She assumed they must have been playing hide and go seek, so she looked through bushes, under trees, and around every corner. However, she was not able to find them.
She asked one of the yellow sparkle fairies, “have you seen our new three friends? They are orange jackal bears.”
The yellow fairy responded, “No madam. The last time I saw them, they were sliding on the swings with the jumping birds.”
So, Madam approached the jumping birds and asked them, “have you seen our new three friends? They are orange jackal bears.”
One of the jumping birds replied, “No madam. The last time we saw them, they were building sand castles with the other jackal bears, that had just woke up.”
So, Madam approached the dancing kangaroos and asked them, “have you seen our new three friends? They are orange jackal bears.”
The dancing kangaroos replied, “No madam. The last time we saw them, they were dancing with us, but they got thirsty. So they went to the sparkling stream to drink some water. We have not seen them since then.”
Madam quickly rushed to the sparkling stream, but did not see the three bears there. Then, she looked down into the stream, and saw her reflection and the jackle bears reflection… She dipped her hands into the water, but they were not there. Frustrated and confused how three bears could just magically disappear, Madam Cladessence tapped her chin, shook her head, and rubbed her forehead. The bears’ reflection would not leave the stream, so Madam took a leap of faith and jumped into the sparkling water. She held her breath as the sparkling stream transported her to a new unexpexted location, one she had never seen before. She had magically popped up in the middle of a street with racing cars, noisy and oddly dressed people, and large hanging signs. This was not her home, the Grandiose Kingdom, and was definitely not a place for orange jackal bears.
