Jamie and her friends danced their way past tiny bushes, through tiny gardens, and past tiny tree homes, until they came across an angry tiny dwarf. The tiny man was very very upset.
“What brings you to my village?,” the dwarf asked Jamie and her friends.
Jamie replied, “We are seeking help to calm down my dancing purple slippers and to find a way home.”
“That has nothing to do with me! I don't care.” The dwarf stomped his feet, pouted his lips, and crossed his arms. He had gotten angrier.
Jamie asked, “What is so wrong? Why are you so upset?”
“I'm hungry, and so are my buddies! We have been working all day under the hot sun.” His stomach growled, and flattened.
“What type of work do you do?” Hilary asked.
The dwarf replied, “construction. My buddies and I chop down trees and gather materials to build more homes for our continuously growing village. We have been work all day,” the dwarf loudly complained.
“Oh wow! I would be hungry too, if I had to work so much,” Savannah said.”
“YES! Finally someone who gets it,” the dwarf said in a grumpy tone of voice. “I am tired.” After speaking, the dward's work buddies approached Jamie and her friends, after walking past a stack of chopped trees.
“...And you are,” one of the dwarf's buddies said.
“It doesn't matter, and they don't matter,” the dwarf shouted as he sat on the pile of tree wood, crossed his arms, and turned his head to the side.
Jamie knew it would help if the dwarves were cheerful and happy. So she led her friends in a dance routine and cheerful song. After minutes of dancing and singing, the dwarf let out a small grin, but returned to his angry face. So, Jamie and her friends danced bigger and sang louder, until his buddies joined in the fun, but the dwarf himself would not budge.
Jamie tapped her chin, and remembered how preparing Sunday dinner with her mother would bring so much love and joy to her mother and family. So, Jamie danced around the village, leading her friends on a hunt to find tasty foods. As they spun in circles and leaped in the air, Jamie and her friends picked berries from the tiny bushes, apples from the tiny trees, and green vegetables from the tiny gardens.
After gathering the foods, they grabbed a tree log and beautifully placed the berries, apples, and vegetables on the tree, and decorated the table with nearby flowers and rose pedals.
The dwarf's eyes widened as he saw the table of delicious fruits and vegetables. His buddies got to the table before him, and began to eat. His stomach growled as he hurried to the table, and began eating. After eating the delicious feast, his anger transformed into happiness. A smile was on his face, and it was there to stay.
“Thank you so much! Those fruits and vegetables were beyond delicious,” the dwarf said. “What are you all's names?”
Jamie and her friends said you're welcome to the dwarf and his buddies, and introduced themselves as Jamie, Savannah, Hilary, Alexander, and George.
“You are kind people, Jamie, Savannah, Hilary, Alexander, and George. How can I return the favor?”
Jamie replied, “Do you know any ways to get my shoes to stop dancing, and can you help us find a way home?”
The dwarf tapped his chin and patted his forehead. He replied, “I'm not sure I can help with any of those issues, but I know a place where they love to help others. If you follow me, I will show you the way.” Jamie and her friends did just that. They followed the dwarf, back to dancing along the sparkling purple trail, and through the tiny village of tiny people, tiny places, and tiny things. After a few minutes of continuous dancing, they had finally come across a brightly lit room with a large stage, just past the tiny village. The room was filled with sparkling dust, glistening stars, smiling moons, pretty flowers, plants, river streams, and bushes. It looked like a piece of paradise.
“We'll, this is my stop,” the dwarf said. His stomach, filled with love, became round. He gave a big hug to Jamie and her friends, and they said their goodbyes. Then, Jamie and her friends continued dancing along the purple trail and into the stunning room.
