After passing through the yellow vortex, Jamie and her friends were placed on a far away land, nowhere like their home. Their faces were confused, but intrigued. Jamie and her friends danced along the sparkling purple trail, past the sparkling homes, and through the sparkling forest, until they came across a green goblin. He huffed and puffed with sadness in his eyes, as he sat next to a sparkling river.
“What brings you to my forest?,” the goblin said as streams of tears continued to flow down his face.
“I'm not sure, but I can't stop dancing,” Jamie said. Her friends giggled, as they continued dancing along with her.
“You must really love dancing.”
“I do, but it would be nice to stop and start whenever I would like.”
“I know. I mean, your shoes are magical. They sparkle brighter than glitter, and they keep smiling at me.” The goblin let out a small amusingchuckle, but quickly began to cry again.
Jamie asked, “Why are you so upset?”
The goblin replied, “I went for a swim in the river to enjoy this beautiful day, but once I got out, my red hat was gone.”
“We can help you look for it,” Alexander, one of Jamie's friends, suggested.
The goblin replied, “you're not going to find it. It sank into the river. My once beautiful day is now a gloomy day.”
“Not for long,” Hilary, one of Jamie's friends, said as she took the goblin’s hand and began dancing with him. The goblin let out an even big chuckle of laughter, but returned back to his crying moments later.
“Oh no,” Savannah, another one of Jamie's friends said. She was disappointed that their dancing had not cheered up the goblin. Jamie was disappointed by this as well, but she remembered how they had been rehearsing for their evening recital and how singing and dancing would make their day bright. So, Jamie led her friends and the goblin in a happy song.
Jamie and her friends sang their hearts out, and danced circles around the goblin until he joined in the fun. He shook his hips to the music in the air, hummed along to the song, shaking his beard. The goblin’s tears dried and his frown had finally turned into a smile that was there to stay.
“Thank you all for your beautiful singing and dancing. My frowning day has now turned into a smiling day. How can I repay the favor?”
Jamie replied, “Do you have any idea, I can get my purple slippers to calm down its excitement and stop dancing.”
“Hmmm,” the goblin murmured as he shook his head, tapped his chin, and scratched his forehead.
“Can you help us find a way home, as well,” George, another one of Jamie's friends added his remarks.
The goblin replied, “I'm not sure that I have the answer to any of you all’s problems, but I know a place where the people love to help others. If you follow me, I will show you the way. Jamie and her friends nodded their heads. They continued dancing along the purple trail through the middle of the forest, as the goblin led the way. After a few minutes of continuous dancing, they came across a tiny village, just outside the forest. There were tiny plants, tiny decorations, and super tiny houses. Jamie and her friends had never seen so many tiny things all at once.
“Here you go,” the goblin said. He took off his soaking wet red hat that had magically poofed onto his head. He held it downwards, as he bowed to Jamie and her friends. Jamie and her friends said their final goodbyes to the goblin, and then continued to dance along the purple trail and into the tiny village.
