Still snoozing in bed, Mother laid peacefully at rest until she heard a loud banging sound from the kitchen. She coughed her way out of bed, and limped her way to the kitchen. The back door was broken. The back wall was clawed up, and there were large monsterous foot print on the floor. Looking down, Mother was shocked by the sight of things. Stealing a variety of foods and drinks with their sharp, husky claws, was gang of three mongrols.
Mother shouted at the mongrols, “GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!” Mother threw appliances and furniture at the mongrol beasts, but they wouldn't budge, byt they did get stirred up with raging anger and aggression. They got up and started trying to attack Mother, so she grabbed a pot and whipped their tails. The mongrols screeched in pain, cried tears of defeat, and ran back outside in fear. After the fight scene, Mother ran to Annabella’s bed and lifted the blankets, but Annabella was not there. Mother shouted in the air, “ANNABELLA! WHERE ARE YOU?” Unfortunately, there was no response. Mother shouted again, “ANNABELLA! WHERE ARE YOU?” There was still no response. Frustrated and scared of what might have happened to Annabella, Mother ran outside to the town's bell, and rang it very loudly alarming everyone in Rose Village, including Jack who was napping on a corner.
Jack shouted from the ground, “What is it?”
Mother replied, “I need everyone to group search for my daughter, Annabella Pomper. I think those wild, ugly creatures may have kidnapped her.
“Oh no! I hope she didn't…” Jack thought out loud.
“Do what?” Mother was very concerned, and was hoping that Jack was not a random, crazy man.
“There's no time to explain. If you still have hope that your daughter is alive, then you are going to have to search for her in the forest.”
“What?”
“Just go, and get Annabella! I will gather the town to rally and search.”
With the cooking pan still in her right hand, Mother took off running in the direction of the forest.
Jack ran in the opposite direction.
Once Mother approached the entrance of the forest, she saw Abe gazing at the sky. He charmingly turned around, and stared at Mother.
“Your hair sprouts to the sky, and your eyes sparkle under the moon,” Abe said to Mother.
“GET OUT OF MY WAY!” Mother shouted at Abe, but he continued blocking her from entering into the forest.
“I can satisfy your tastes with a lavish dress, sparkling coins, or a delicious meal.”
“I said get out of my way,” Mother's spoke in a serious voice as she slapped Abe in his left arm with her pan.
“Oww,” Abe shrieked and angrily moved out of the way. “It's not safe to enter the Mongrol Forest!”
Mother spoke quickly, “Where is the little girl with tightly texture hair, puffy cheeks, and deep brown eyes.”
“Annabella?”
“How do you know who that is?”
“Who are you?”
“I'm her mother?”
“I'll take you to her if you promise not to hit me again. Mother ran through the forest with Abe leading the way. Together, they beat up mongrol beasts, scared away ghosts, and put more fear into the forest. Mother aggressively smacked a mongrol with her pot that attempted to claw at her face. “GET OUT OF MY FACE!” Mother shouted at the dazed and injured mongrol, laying flat-out on the ground. Mother and Abe made a great fighting pair.
Mother continued running in the forest, and shouted. “I'm coming for you Annabella! I love you! Mother is coming!.”
“I love you too, Annabella!,” Abe proclaimed his love for Annabella in the wind.
Mother turned around, put her arms on her hips, stared deeply into Abe's eyes. She spoke in a serious tone of voice. “Shut up, and take me to my daughter!”
Abe swallowed his pride. Together, Mother and Abe continued traveling through the Mongrol Forest.
