Lynx
After what felt like eternity, Lynx was content with the fact that Cory is fast asleep and won’t be waking up any time soon.
He knows what he is going to do here, and he doesn’t want Cory to see it, not wanting Cory to fear him more than he probably already does.
Cory already knows what kind of person Lynx is, one that is not afraid of using blackmail to get what he wants, but it is another thing to see it. And right now, Lynx is out for blood and the bastard is going to be lucky if Lynx will even show mercy. He doesn’t want to, knowing that after what has happened already, they would not have shown Cory any mercy.
They would have taken him without his consent.
They would have touched him while he screamed for mercy. Lynx saw the video of what was happening before he barged into the room, how people heard Cory but didn’t do anything about it.
Now, Lynx knows that he isn’t going to allow Cory to be doing this anymore. He doesn’t even care about the debt but he’s going to do everything in his power to make sure that he is going to keep Cory close to his side.
But first, he has to get this done.
Going deep underground in the private area of the Underground, this is where the dungeons are and where he sometimes tortures people to death. He is not going to be kind, knowing what he is preparing himself for. He is terrified over the fact that he could end up losing Cory if Cory decides that he doesn’t want anything to do with Lynx anymore. Lynx wouldn’t blame him, knowing that he has been pretty shitty at keeping Lynx protected.
He thought he could trust his manager.
Now, he knows that maybe Vex is going to need to be replaced.
At the end of the hall, he sees a familiar person leaning against the wall. Dressed completely in black, he almost blends right into the shadows of the dungeon. A black cap covers the majority of his black hair with tinges of red and even his tattoos are covered. But when he looks up, Lynx notices the familiar red eyes that look almost demonic, the only person that Lynx has met that has eyes of that color.
Some call him the devil himself.
The cruel nature that he can be, it wouldn’t surprise Lynx at all if he truly were Satan himself.
“I wasn’t expecting to see you here.” Lynx murmurs, knowing that his friend is holding onto the one thing that continues to keep Cory by his side, “is everything fine?”
“He is asleep, and I have guards posted that way he wouldn’t be able to run.” Luci murmurs, staring right through Lynx’s soul as if he knows that Lynx is on edge, “besides, he might have a broken ankle on the mend right now.”
Lynx freezes, giving Luci a cold look, “I thought I told you that he wasn’t to be injured. He is the key to me winning Cory over and keeping him by my side.”
Luci shrugs his shoulders, not giving a damn because he has no reason to, “sorry. He jumped out of the window trying to escape and broke it. Not really my fault that he was an idiot. He’s lucky that is the worst thing that happened.”
Lynx wants to strangle Luci, but he knows that Luci wouldn’t do anything to fuck with Lynx. It’s a notion that makes him relax a little bit. Lynx just wished that he could figure out what the hell he is going to do so that he can keep Cory by his side completely.
“Are you here to help me?” Lynx asks, knowing that Luci probably already heard about what happened.
Luci nods, “yep. I don’t like rapists so he’s going to get what is coming to him.”
As they are now both in agreement, they head into the locked room, seeing the man tied, blindfolded and gagged in the middle of the plain room. Old blood has stained the walls and the floor, and the smell that can’t ever be washed away.
The man knows what is going to come.
“So, Mr. Miller.” Lynx murmurs, seeing how the man continues to tremble with fear, “I see that you didn’t know how to take no for an answer. You touched someone that wasn’t yours, especially without his consent, and you were not going to stop unless someone else stopped you. You fucked up.”
Lynx is picking through his torture devices, trying to decide what he wants to do to the lowlife piece of shit. The fury is making his blood boil, tempting him to do a lot more and make sure this bastard will wish he is dead before Lynx is done.
“Let him talk.” Lynx instructs Luci.
Luci is quick to move, removing the gag in one quick moment. Of course, Mr. Miller thinks that he is going to be able to talk his way out of this.
He couldn’t be more wrong when he is going to find out that he has seriously messed up and Lynx is not forgiving. He doesn’t like when his people are touched and Cory, well, Cory is his and the thought of ANYONE touching him makes him want to freak out. He’s going to make sure that the bastard is going to regret what he did.
“I’m so sorry, Mr. Romanov.” Mr. Miller is trying to plead his case, not realizing it is just pissing Lynx off even more, “I shouldn’t have let my desires get the better of me and I shouldn’t have just touched him. I was drunk and I didn’t know what I was doing. It will never happen again. I won’t come here!”
“You’re right.” Lynx agrees with him, picking up his favorite serrated knife that he uses, “you’re not going to do this again because I’m not going to let it happen. You messed up.”
Mr. Miller is trying to plead with Lynx, begging for mercy and hoping that he is going to appeal to Lynx somehow. He should have known that it would never happen, just making Lynx angrier with every word that passes through his lips.
Walking forward, Luci pries open Mr. Miller’s mouth so that he wouldn’t try to bite Lynx that way Lynx would be able to grab the slippery muscle in the man’s mouth after putting on gloves.
With one smooth movement, Lynx slices off the tongue, a piercing scream escaping Mr. Miller before blood spurts everywhere, choking him and spilling out of his mouth. One would think that Lynx would be content with that but no, he wasn’t going to stop until he made sure that Mr. Miller would never be able to do a thing again.
One by one, Lynx removes the rest of the objects on Mr. Miller’s face. His right ear, then the left. His nose. His lips.
Moving lower, every single finger right at the last knuckle, chopped off with his favorite shears. His toes go as well, dismembering his body piece by piece as he is leaving the best for last. Lynx doesn’t revel in this, but he also knows there will be absolutely no way in hell that this bastard will touch what is his ever again. If that happens, then it is going to be because Lynx is at fault.
“Take off the blindfold.” Lynx murmurs, preparing for what is going to happen now.
The blindfold is gone and because of the blood loss, Mr. Miller isn’t doing so well. Lynx is content with that, working on the man’s pants enough that he would be able to free the pathetic excuse of a penis that the man thinks that he has.
With one last surge of energy, Mr. Miller tries to stop it from happening, but Lynx isn’t going to stop. In one smooth movement, staring Mr. Miller down, Lynx slices off the man’s penis, the last piece of his body that Lynx wished to remove.
Lynx didn’t care, knowing that getting rid of this bastard will be one less piece of shit in the world.
Knowing that he is done now, Lynx slices the man’s throat, delivering the final blow that would end him. Lynx has to take a shower before going back to Cory, not wanting to scare Cory by looking like he had just walked out of a bloodbath.
“Get rid of the body.” Lynx instructs Luci, removing the clothing that he could where he wouldn’t have to deal with it later, “and make sure it is never found. He doesn’t deserve to have a proper burial for what he tried to do.”
Leaving that room, Lynx came to the decision that he is going to do everything in his power to make sure that Cory is going to be content and never unhappy.
Opening up his heart, Lynx never would have guessed that it would happen so easily with someone that he just wanted to play with.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Surprisingly enough, Lynx didn’t let Cory work in the Underground after what happened. Cory was a bit confused, remembering how the whole agreement was because Cory would need to work there but Lynx was adamant that Cory would be staying in his house and tending to it instead. He would be able to pay off the debt that way.
Cory was a little hesitant, wondering just what Lynx was thinking but he decided not to worry about it too much. Truthfully, he has a bit more to worry about rather than someone touching him. So long as nothing happened like the night before, he would be okay.
Lynx didn’t seem to care though and basically just gave him a chore list. Cory cleaned everywhere, seeing how Lynx didn’t seem to mind that Cory would be able to find his deepest, darkest secrets. Truthfully, this might just be the right thing for him to do so that he could easily get Judas back and get away from Lynx…
He doesn’t understand it but the thought of losing Lynx makes him a little sick to his stomach. He thought it would be okay with time, but something tells him that it isn’t going to be easy. He knows what kind of person Lynx is but a part of him doesn’t seem to care.
Just as he is finishing up cleaning, he receives a text message. Pulling out his phone, he realizes it is from Lynx.
From Lynx: I’ll be home soon. Get ready.
To Cory, that didn’t make a lot of sense because he wasn’t prepared to be going anywhere. Most of the time when Lynx got back here, they ate the dinner that Cory prepared, watched a movie, and then crawled into bed together. Cory should be embarrassed at how many times he has been caught cuddling with Lynx when he woke up.
To Lynx: See you soon.
Cory wondered if that sounded too clingy, like he is excited at the fact that Lynx is going to be home soon. The Underground is a little ways away from Lynx’s home, so Cory knows that he has a little bit of a time, but he doesn’t know how Lynx wants him to get dressed.
Although it took a while, Cory managed on a simple cardigan since it is a little cool tonight and black slacks with his normal tennis shoes. Messing with his hair a little bit, he wondered if he should style it but the sound of the doors opening tells him that he doesn’t have a lot of time to do so.
Walking around the corner, Cory sees Lynx look like absolute perfection, like usual. Cory isn’t so sure how he hasn’t tried to jump Lynx’s bones yet, but he has been trying to keep the distance that way he didn’t end up falling for Lynx’s charms. He continuously has to remind himself that Lynx is not a good man.
That Lynx is doing things that Cory should hate and he has to keep the distance between them before he ends up getting swept away. If he lets himself get taken, then it’s just going to get ugly and then Lynx is going to have that control over him.
“Where are we going?” Cory asks curiously, seeing how Lynx looks up.
Lynx smiles slightly, a glimmer in his eyes that does something to Cory’s heart, “you’ll have to see.”
Cory hates when Lynx does that, but he doesn’t get a chance to say anything because he is already being dragged out of there.
The ride is a little long, seeing how they are going away from the city towards the other towns and cities. It is getting dark out, a notion that Cory is very aware of and there’s no way that he is going to be able to think about anything else as he is being swept away.
Until they arrive at a really nice restaurant, Cory’s jaw drops slightly. He has never been to something like this, knowing that he just never saw the point in going to a fancy restaurant and spending that kind of money. He wants to protest but the glimmer in Lynx’s eyes tells him that protesting is just going to break Lynx’s heart and Cory doesn’t want to do that.
“What are we doing here?” Cory asks curiously, seeing how he doesn’t understand why Lynx is being so sweet to him, “do you normally take your workers to fancy restaurants?”
A weird look spreads across Lynx’s face, and he doesn’t look very happy with Cory’s question. Cory doesn’t care, not understanding why Lynx is doing this to him because they are supposed to not be this way together.
Lynx is making Cory feel weirdly, like he is being swept away with everything that is Lynx. He has no control over his body, being completely overtaken by him and he doesn’t want to let go. He wants to be completely one with Lynx and that scares him.
“It’s like you have feelings for me.” Cory whispers, needing answers before it ends up being an even bigger mess, “and I don’t like you playing games with my mind. I don’t want to get that hope that you like me and that our relationship isn’t as fucked up as it’s turning out to be. Please… Just tell me the truth.”
Cory felt like he was going to start crying, the weight of everything crashing down on him and it felt like nothing was going the way that he needed it to. He didn’t want to do this with the one who has been blackmailing him but also hasn’t done anything to hurt him.
Like a real relationship, the odd sensation building within Cory as he is thinking about how far their relationship could end up going. If Cory gives his heart to Lynx, will that mean Judas would be able to come home?
Can Lynx truly be the one for Cory?
Will Cory live to regret it?
As the questions plague Cory’s mind, he didn’t even realize Lynx was moving into action.
Lynx’s big hand cups the side of Cory’s face, making Cory look up at him almost immediately. There is a strange look on Lynx’s face, like he is contemplating on what he is going to say to Cory. He longs for a lot more, knowing that Cory is not going to believe just words.
So, he does the one thing that he knows he can do…
Leaning in, Lynx softly kisses Cory on the lips, a promise of how he feels. A promise that no matter what, Cory will always be Lynx’s top priority.
The beast fell in love with the beauty…
And neither one could have stopped it.
