Judas
After what felt like forever, Judas finally wakes up. His body is sore, feeling like he had just been hit by a train, but he is back in the bed that he woke up chained to the very first time.
He lost…
He is a little surprised that Lucifer didn’t kill him, realizing that he would have probably deserved it, but when he looked down, moving the blanket, he saw that his leg was in a cast. He couldn’t feel much, probably drugged up, but he can still feel the sensation of the bullet piercing through his leg and the sinsister crack when Lucifer broke his leg with a mere shift of his weight.
Lucifer could do more to him, Judas knew this, and a part of him wondered why he was still alive. Lucifer had no reason for him to live besides him being a prisoner, but was that really enough for Lucifer to spare his life? It didn’t make a lot of sense to him but he decided not to dwell on it too much.
But as he moves the blankets off of him, he realizes that he is not chained to the bed. It’s hard, but he manages to crawl out of bed, limping towards the door as he uses the wall for support. It didn’t hurt that much to put weight on his broken leg so he was a little grateful for that. He doubts he is going to be able to run away but at least he can try. Why wouldn’t Lucifer chain him up again?
When Judas steps out of the room, he freezes when he sees Lucifer in the living room, braced on one hand with the other behind his back as he does push-ups like nothing, his muscles flexing and his body coated in a thin sheen of sweat. Judas can’t help but hesitate, his gaze gliding over every inch of exposed skin, tempted to do more. Tempted to do it all. Tempted to walk over and touch.
Pushing aside those feelings, feeling a little parched, he can only watch as Lucifer moves into a sitting position, his gaze piercing through Judas. It’s like being watched by a wolf who is sizing up his prey, tempted to do more to him.
Running his fingers through his hair, Judas isn’t sure what to say, “you didn’t kill me?”
Lucifer’s lips twitch, like he is holding back a smile, “should I have? I wouldn’t think that you would be so interested in death.”
“I’m not, but I did hurt you.” Judas mumbles, feeling a little guilty, “I wouldn’t have been surprised if you would have decided that I need to die.”
Lucifer tilts his head to the side, thinking about it, “maybe so, but I couldn’t kill you anyways. We need you alive and if you’re killed, then there is no longer any leverage. It wouldn’t make sense to dispose of you so soon.”
Judas doesn’t know what to say to that, but it does make him feel like maybe he might be able to get out of this alive.
“Besides, I’m sorry.” Lucifer actually apologizes, making Judas turn to stare at him because he didn’t expect to hear an apology, “I shouldn’t have shot you or whatever. Sometimes, I just do before I think about it, and I should have realized that as a prisoner, you would do whatveer you can to escape.”
Judas is more than a little baffled.
“But so long as you don’t run again, I will not hurt you.” Lucifer promises, rising to his feet, making Judas feel small and helpless, “because when you try to run away from me, it makes me want to chase, and I can’t control it when all I want to do is hunt you down and do wicked things to you. Things that would make you cry out for mercy. Things that would make you want to hide from me and never look back…”
There is a tone in Lucifer’s voice, one that sends a shiver down Judas’ spine. It sounds dangerous, but it also sounds seductive. He isn’t sure if Lucifer is going to do anything to him, or even wants him in that way. Judas isn’t sure if Lucifer is even interested in guys, but he might not be okay with the age gap. He might think that Judas is too young for him, or that he would only ever be seen as a prisoner.
Here right in this moment, Judas feels like he doesn’t have a choice. As much as he would want to remain strong and run as far away as possible, but he knew that he would be chased. He knew that he would continue to tempted to do more, and how Lucifer would never stop until he had Judas again.
Judas was going to have to make a decision right now, and he knew the answer that he was going to have to make. He knew that no matter what, Lucifer is going to win.
He is going to remain a prisoner.
“I won’t run.” Judas promises him, seeing how Lucifer immediately looks pleased.
He just hopes that he isn’t going to regret this.
