Judas
Judas is more than just a little screwed, and he has absolutely no idea what he is going to do. He has been trying to free himself without Lucifer noticing, pulling at the chain or even trying to break it, but it’s going to be a miracle if that even were to happen. He just wishes that he had the strength to free himself, mainly because he is worried about what will happen.
Is Lucifer going to kill him?
Why is he even a prisoner?
What did he do to deserve this?
More so, he is worried about what is going to happen with Cory. Since he hasn’t been home in a few days, he can only imagine how worried Cory is. How he is probably freaking out and wondering if he is going to have to call the police. If Cory did, then he would be bringing down the wrath of the Mafia. That is NOT something that Judas would want.
It would just put Cory in danger.
But what terrifies Judas even more is the desire that he has towards Lucifer.
He has seen this man as a killing machine, beating men to the ground, covered in blood. Showing absolutely no mercy. He even knocked Judas out, chaining him up to a bed, and basically keeping him as a prisoner. But in a way, Judas still sees him as handsome.
He's idiotic and suicidal, right?
Judas doesn’t know what to think, feeling like if he ends up making a decision, it could easily blow up in his face. He’s trying, this immense feeling welling within him as he is ready to give it all. He has to get out of here and get to Cory. He already knows that Cory is in danger, but he isn’t sure how or why. He’s just trying to figure it out.
“What are you thinking so hard about?” Lucifer asks as they are sitting at the table, eating his food, “I’d like to think that you’re still not trying to escape.”
“My brother.” Judas mumbles, seeing how this is the first time that Lucifer has unchained him, like he is confident that he could get to Judas if necessary, “what is happeninging to him? Why am I a prisoner? I need to know more answers, Lucifer.”
Lucifer barely looks up, this darkness in his eyes that makes Judas’ heart skips a beat, “as a prisoner, I don’t really see how it is any of your business. You’re here to stay until it is decided that you can go back home. It is as simple as that… Eat your food and be quiet. I’d like to eat in peace.”
A sudden fury welled inside of Judas, a bubbling rage that couldn’t be contained. Before he even realized he was doing it and before even Lucifer could react, he grabbed the glass plate, the heavy glass plate, and smashed it across Lucifer’s head.
Lucifer immediately slumps down to the ground, Judas freezing slightly when he sees the blood dripping down Lucifer’s face. But when he realizes that Lucifer isn’t moving, he realizes that he must have knocked Lucifer out cold. So he moves into action, promising that he will send someone Lucifer’s way to make sure that he isn’t dead.
Judas runs out of the house like he is being stalked by the devil himself. He might be barefoot and this isn’t the time to be running at dusk, but he doesn’t have much of a choice. He just has to get away because if he doesn’t, then he is going to remain a prisoner.
If he can get far enough, even if Lucifer were to wake up, he would be long gone. Judas prized himself in being a runner for many years and he knows that it is not going to be easy to catch up to him. It doesn’t matter what kind of monster Lucifer considers himself to be. Judas can be-
BANG!
Searing pain explodes through Judas’ leg, making him cry out in agony as he hits the ground. Clutching at his leg, he can feel it is wet, pulling his hands back to see a dark red liquid coating his hands. That’s when he realizes he is bleeding, that he has been shot. Blinking back the tears, his vision a little fuzzy, he looks up and sees Lucifer marching towards him like a rabid animal, sniper in hand. With the blood that had dripped down his face from when Judas had hit him, he looked even more dangerous.
“That was pretty stupid.” Lucifer growls, tilting his head to the side, like he is thinking about finishing the job, “did you seriously think that you were going to get away? From me? I’m a hunter, Judas, and nobody can get away from me no matter how hard they try. I’m sure you should have figured that out by now.”
By the time Lucifer is finished speaking, he is towering over Judas, just mere inches away. Judas really does feel like he is caught in the wolf’s gaze. He thought that he could run. He thought that he could get away.
He should have known that it wasn’t going to be easy to get away. He thought that he got the edge on the monster, but the monster knew how to play the game.
“What are you going to do to me?” Judas whispers, trying to sound strong even though he can feel the blood seeping through the cracks between his fingers, worried that he was going to bleed out from blood loss, “I know you’re not supposed to kill me, so you can’t do that. What are you going to do, Lucifer?”
Lucifer’s smile widens, and that is more terrifying to Judas because this man…
There’s no reason he should smile except for the fact that he is going to do something. Something that terrifies Judas because he knows that Lucifer has Judas’ life in the palm of his hands, and he can do whatever he pleases. He has no problem with doing everything to Judas because Judas is at his mercy.
It doesn’t matter what Judas does or thinks. He doesn’t matter that it is his life on the line. It doesn’t matter what his fate will be decided based on what Lucifer wishes to do to him. To tempt fate and quickly do as he pleases. Instead, Lucifer raises his food, placing it on the one that he had shot. Judas winces, but he gazes into the eyes of the beast.
Judas can all but hear his heart pounding in his chest, almost like it is going to explode. He isn’t sure what Lucifer is going to do, but with every passing moment, his heart seems to race even more. He is terrified, he has every reason to be. Every one of Lucifer’s movements, they are unpredicable.
“I guess I’ll just have to make sure that you’re not going to be able to walk without assistance for a while.” Lucifer murmurs, pressing slightly forward.
It all went black as Judas felt and heard it…
CRACK!
