She finished her meal and immediately headed to the holy temple to hold the ceremony for her new position. As soon as she stepped out, she saw the priest waiting for her. Upon seeing her, he said, "Please go ahead and prepare, my lady." She entered the temple, and after a while, she came out in a white dress, accented with light yellow bows. Her hair was neatly styled by the current High Priestess. When she reached the door, she signaled the guards to slowly open it. As the doors opened, she saw the crowd of people who had gathered to witness the ceremony. She stepped forward, her radiant smile lighting up the space. Everyone had to admit that she was incredibly beautiful, her platinum blonde hair tied with a light yellow bow, her pale pinkish-purple eyes, and the white dress making her shine like a little angel.
Suddenly, someone shouted, "No matter how beautiful she is, the High Priestess must have the power to heal! With someone so small, can she do anything?" Hearing this, everyone around nodded in agreement. Rodian was about to speak up, but she stopped him. She stepped forward, smiled, and said, "I will prove it. The priests can randomly choose someone who is ill, and I will heal them right in front of everyone. Is that alright?" The crowd murmured for a while, then agreed.
The patients stepped forward one by one. A priest read aloud, "Let me introduce Karen." A girl stepped forward and cautiously said, "Actually, I don’t expect you to heal me, because the previous High Priestess could only suppress the illness." She smiled and responded, "Hello, Karen, I’m Arina. I’ll try my best to heal you."
With the worried gazes of the crowd upon her, she began to cast her magic. Golden light surrounded Karen, gradually spreading. The sores and wounds slowly began to disappear, and soon, all of her injuries were healed. Karen stood still, unable to believe her eyes. The crowd fell silent, astonished by what they were witnessing.
After a moment, whispers began to circulate: "I can’t believe it... She can really heal!" "This is amazing! In such a short time, she healed those wounds!"
Rodian, who had intended to step in and explain, now stood frozen, his eyes wide in disbelief. She didn’t say anything, just gently turned to Karen. "Thank you for trusting me. I hope you stay healthy forever."
Karen stood motionless, tears welling up in her eyes, and said, "Thank you... Truly, thank you."
Arina turned to face the crowd, her gaze firm. "This is the power of the High Priestess. It’s not just about outward beauty; it’s about the ability to heal and help those in pain. We can change people’s destinies, as long as we believe."
The crowd fell silent for a moment, then erupted into applause. Compliments and praises began to flood in from all directions. No one could deny that she truly deserved the title of High Priestess.
Rodian stood by her side, smiling proudly. "She did it. She really did it."
