It seemed as though the doors themselves were part of the massive mechanical system surrounding him. He suspected he was still within the testing grounds, but something felt off. It seemed the keys he was looking for weren’t just in his hands, but in his mind and in how he chose to view this dark world.

He stepped back slightly from the door, then carefully scanned his surroundings. The room was filled with strange machines and devices, and the sounds they emitted resembled discordant tones interweaving with one another. He thought to himself, Why does everything here seem so complicated? Why can’t I understand anything I see?

The answer wasn’t readily available, but he felt that all these tools weren’t just decoration. They were real instruments meant to unlock unknown doors. If he wanted to move forward, he would have to engage with them and test his ability to solve puzzles. He realized that at the heart of this trial, everything depended on his ability to connect the present with the past—a past that was slipping away from his memory with each passing moment.

“Will you stay here forever, or will you decide to move forward?” the man said in a calm tone, like a distant melody. The protagonist didn’t reply. He knew that if he stopped now, he might fail to find the answers he sought. He understood that any misstep could mean the end of the road.

Then, in a sudden moment, one of the surrounding devices began to emit a strange sound. It morphed into a tone resembling a sorrowful melody, and slowly, a blurry image appeared on the screen. There was something strange and intriguing about this image.

He cautiously approached the device, his eyes fixed on the screen. The image was hazy, as though someone stood in a dark place. He moved closer, his eyes trying to focus on the scattered details before him. It was an image of another person, bear ing the symbol he had seen earlier. The mark was identical to the one he carried on his neck. This time, it was evident that this person had undergone the same test.

“Is this the person who went through this test before?” the protagonist wondered to himself.

But before he could think further, the sound emanating from the device grew louder. Then, suddenly, another man appeared on the screen, wearing a strange smile. His grin was distorted, as though he had endured some kind of trauma. His eyes were filled with mystery, as if he knew something the protagonist could not yet grasp.

“He is here. You must find what completes your trials,” the man said in a garbled voice.

The image shifted again, revealing a dark, fog-shrouded place. Something lurked in the shadows, ready to emerge, but it remained enigmatic.

“Is this the place I need to go to?” the protagonist whispered to himself. “Or am I just part of a closed loop?”

Suddenly, the device began to shake violently. The screens flashed rapidly, displaying scenes from his past and present. Time seemed to flow strangely, with memories blending into the present in a disorienting way. Yet, in that moment, he felt a shift within himself, as though something deep inside was changing “I can’t turn back now,” he said firmly.

With steady steps, he approached the door. For the first time, he felt a glimmer of confidence. The path to the truth wasn’t going to be easy, but he was determined to keep searching. In that moment, he felt something else—a sense that each step brought him closer to unraveling the mystery surrounding him.
