Thanks for the support, now today let’s talk something shall we? Let’s talk about how I created the webcomic that has its sitcom style and everything, first let me introduce

Coin Rush is a webcomic created by me, it follows the quirky adventures of Cheesy and his gang at Hotel Pizza, his brother voice-of-reason Cheeseburger, his dumbass sidekick Mr. Corn Flakes Boy, the beer-loving reckless offensive guy Fireslayer, the fashion-loving Tiffany, the sarcastic tsundere cold sister Rita, and the kind loving voice-of-reason Creamsweet

Other characters include Jess (Cheeseburger’s wife) Jimmy (Cheeseburger and Jess’s troublesome childish niece) Professor Kick My Golick Balls, the evil scientist, Adam Diagonal (the gangster perverted monkey) and Tame-do the Lame-do (The perverted neighbor at Hotel Pizza)

The bossy clock Mr. Tick-a-clock, The shark Bruce, Cheesy and Cheeseburger’s strict no-nonsense mean cold violent father Mayor Sugarface.

The Last But not the least Father Michael, Hotel Pizza’s Priest who has a catholic church, sometimes a bad priest.

The story all begins in my childhood years, yes, those sweet good times…those times where you would eat fruits, play and start watching TV, you see, I love watching TV, I love cartoons, I love animation, I love comedy, I love drama and romance, and witty stuff

But what did I like the most?

Adult Animation and Disney and Warner Bros

I love those, I love adult animation, to this date Family Guy and the Simpsons are my favorite shows, and let’s not forget, I love Futurama and American Dad!

I also love Disney, Disney has the best movies, I go to the cinemas, what I love most about them is their Broadway songs. E.G Encanto and Toy Story are personal favorites.

Now, the love I had for television made me someone, so at an early age, I started writing, of course, if you see my stories when I was 8 and 11, you would say ‘’You’re such a bad author!’’ Of course, they sucked.

But for the truth, I love writing and craft, the reason I’m on Wattpad is because I want to share with you my love, my skills, the worlds I build, they are amazing obviously.

I also love reading books, books are very nice, Science Fiction and Teen fiction, I guess.

I’m a fan of comics and manuscripts to be honest.

I also was at school, and was good at English Stories, right now I can make a huge story, very simple, and kind-of-short.

Let me tell you something, you can say you want to be a doctor, a nurse, an engineer, an accountant, a builder, a boxer, a football player, and all sorts, but for the truth, do you know how to be them? If you know then do it, but it needs practice.

Follow your passion and your journey, follow what you’ve been doing all these years, follow what you are good at, if you have a nice skill then do it, even the smallest things you have, pursuer them, and of course, it starts small, not big.

Don’t just get fish for a person, teach that guy to catch the fish, don’t copy stuff, teach yourself how they made them, watch development of your favorite stuff, the ones who are successful, the wattpaders, they all began like you/us, we were just sitting here, writing stuff, getting no views, 123, 6, 5,

But if we try hard and make fresh books, we can make it good.

New concepts don’t always work, but keep trying HARD and HARD, you will get them.

If you have a bad day at school, come back home, and start scrolling on your phone in the bedroom, what is there? Instead deal with your anger, do what you love, read your favorite stories, do a lot of things.

Believe me or not, everything I’m saying is what made me turn Coin Rush into 6 years of development, scroll to the next chapter.

 Now time to talk about Coin Rush:

Development on the webcomic began in 2019, when at that time, I wanted to be a nice filmmaker, a nice writer, and make industry wide success.

Little did I know that big things begin small.

So, I had the idea of a Stair Dismount cartoon, Mr. Ego is the dumb leader, Mr. Dismount…well is like Cheeseburger, voice-of-reason, and also the green android bot I forgot was supposed to be like Mr. Corn Flakes Boy, dumbass.

The plan continued and I went to Tiffany, just like the bot but pink.

However, designing issues prevented this from happening, I had trouble, I was a very bad drawer at the time, and yeah, I was.

So, I changed the concept to Stickmen, yeah seems fun? Of course, it seems fun, Cheesy would have been a yellow stickman, yes, he would have.

I’m going too far, let me continue where I was at:

So yes, after I had a love for playing video games. E.g. Angry Birds, Super Mario, Sonic, GTA

I made it into a game, they were in my head, a rolling pizza on the slide, shooting pizza-bombs everywhere, enemies would have been roaches, blah-blah

In fact, I wanted to release it on Xbox and PlayStation 5, I even had the graphics imitations.

Silly me.

And yes, I never even knew how to python, do game design, and make the music. Only reason I know about this I read a lot of Wikipedia articles, and go on Development.

After some time, the series evolved into an animated TV Show, I had ideas, and started discussing with my brother, in 2023, I started discovering PowerPoint, so then I learnt about drawing and these amazing animations, I learnt them from Angry Birds Custom animations I was seeing in YouTube.

I began doing lots of experimental stuff, and I started becoming good, every single day, then I learnt about 3D designs, I made presets and lighting, I can even show you how to make a model using 3D, but I’m not on YouTube (FOR NOW)

And yes, I made the characters.

Starting with Cheesy.

Cheesy was just a guy in my head, I made his pizza body, and then designed his eyes, and made the pepperoni, I then made his Crown (Cheesy isn’t a king, it’s his selfish personality that makes him think he is)

And then Cheeseburger, he is the hardest!

And Fireslayer, Tiffany, Rita and Creamsweet, Quack-O-Evil and the roaches.

Tiffany’s design evolved a lot, she was a roller skater girl, but changed, it wasn’t too fun, I changed her to be hairy, and necklacy, and failure, punk: failure

I had failures, until at the last minute, I redesigned her to something cute and teenish.

Rita was just manga.

Mr. Corn Flakes Boy, if you are wondering, I had lots of plans, either I had to put him or not, I had lots of ideas, until I just put him, Cheesy and him make a pretty good duo.

His dumbass personality was inspired by Patrick, Mario (SMG4), and many dumb guys you can think of.

Cheesy was inspired from Stan Smith and SpongeBob, and Homer, and Peter.

His personality is a mix of recklessness and selfishness, anything you would expect out of your younger brother who has a business.

And Cheeseburger was supposed to be different, but he is a voice-of-reason brother who is married to Jess. He is cool, sometimes pridy, but intelligent and controls Cheesy’s nonsense, like Creamsweet.

And also, Tiffany was inspired by fashion-loving teenage girls, they are common in sitcoms, so I just use them.

Her design changed during production, from roller skater girl to gangster with curls, until I finally settled to a mouse-hair like experience.

Rita is the sassy, sarcastic, emotionless sister. I just thought it would be fun to have a cold sister roasting people, despite the fact she was redesigned over 2 times, until I settled.

And the others were modelled after the others, also Jimmy, he was from the beginning, he wasn’t supposed to be added, but I found him cool, so I added.

All the characters have a quirky, kid-like, unique, absurd, cartoonish appearance, that was my vision to create a webcomic that will appeal to readers, and contain adult and teenage themes.

Think of Digital Circus and DHMIS, that’s how the style was inspired from.

 DESINGING AND VISUALISING

What appeals to the audience? Visuals! What makes them enjoy? VISUALS!

Let’s talk about designing and visuals.

You see, look, when you create a story, you have to have amazing visuals, eye-catching posters and characters. I’m not popular myself, but this is what attracts Coin rush to many readers. And not everyone will enjoy, just take time.

So, in 2023, I discovered PowerPoint, a Microsoft app for slide showing, and animation. At first, I never knew so I started experimenting with PowerPoint, I worked on it for months and months, experimenting lighting, dynamic shadows and presets, that’s why Coin Rush is like that, in mid-2024, I made the characters and backgrounds, using a variety of tools.

Coin Rush uses lighting when making the characters, and make them feel warm, cold, dark, icy, I convey them with different designs.

So I started with Cheesy, modeled over 3 times, he begins with an upside down isometric triangle, and I make it yellow, after that, do presets, and add lighting and shadow, I do the eyes, pepperoni, and his crown (he is not a king, he Is selfish) and he made pretty good.

I did the same with others, Cheeseburger was the hardest, because I had to make a cheeseburger and add eyes, over 100 Lighting and presets, and smoothening shots he was created.

The characters look like they were by Blender, thus I use lots of smoothening shots to resemble Blender modelling, idk how to use Blender, and I have tried to no avail, maybe teach me one time.

And Fireslayer, a green candy with white spots, he originally had a robotic arm and leg, but I removed them for better hand expressions, and his eyes are smothered a lot than usual.

Tiffany and Rita used the shape for Fireslayer but pink-ish and reddish, they use cartoon eyes (for Rita and corn flakes boy)

Creamsweet’s eyes are the hardest, because I added a black circle outline to them.

I also in my free time, use Krita, to do animation framework, it appears cartoonish.
