The city view was visible through the large glass windows. The sun was about to set, and its light fell on Ewan's majestic face. His eyes were fixed on Inayat—deep, sharp, and possessive.
As soon as the door latch closed, Inayat felt her breath quicken.
Ewan rose from his chair and slowly walked towards her.
"Did you really think I would let you go so easily?"
His voice had a dangerous pause.
Inayat composed herself and said, "Ewan... what happened... it was a mistake."
Ewan's eyebrows furrowed. He took off his jacket and threw it on the chair. The top two buttons of his black shirt were open, revealing a glimpse of his perfectly shaped muscular body.
"A mistake?" He took another step, leaving only a few inches between them.
He gently lifted Inayat's chin with his fingers, making her large, frightened eyes meet his intense gaze.
"So tell me, when I touched you... when you were in my arms... when your lips were trembling beneath mine... was that also a mistake?"
Inayat tried to remove his hand in a jerk, but Ewan grabbed her wrist.
"Ewan, please... this isn't right."
"Right or wrong is not for you to decide anymore, Inayat."
His voice was soft but dominant.
"Now you are mine. Every breath, every heartbeat, every feeling—everything is only mine."
Inayat lowered her gaze.
"I am not your possession, Ewan."
Ewan took a deep breath, then suddenly pulled Inayat close.
"Say it again."
Inayat's breath hitched.
"Say it again that you are not mine."
Ewan's fingers tightened on Inayat's waist, his grip was strong, but his touch was intoxicating.
Inayat tried to free herself, but her inner weakness was evident.
"Ewan..." "Hmm?" "You have to let me go..."
Ewan said, "Impossible."
Ewan slowly placed his lips near her neck, and his warm breath touched Inayat's skin.
Her breaths became uncontrolled.
"You cannot distance yourself from me, Inayat..." He gently ran his fingers over her delicate neck, making Inayat's hair stand on end.
"I throb inside you... flow in your body... and am involved in every breath of yours."
"Ewan... please..."
His lips were an inch away...
His eyes were watching Inayat's trembling eyelids...
Suddenly, Inayat came to her senses. She jerked herself back and looked into Ewan's eyes.
"You have no right to claim me like this, Ewan."
A mischievous smile appeared on Ewan's face.
"So what do you think, Inayat... your screams all night... the quickness of your breaths... your body that becomes restless without me... was it all just a dream?"
Inayat's face turned red.
Ewan took her fingers in his hand and gently touched the delicate wrist of her hand with his lips.
"I will never let you go, Inayat."
Inayat was very flustered; she didn't understand anything. She left Ewan and came home.
The Next Morning...
Inayat was sitting in her bedroom.
Wearing a white silk nightie, she looked at herself in the mirror.
There was deep confusion in her eyes.
Could she really save herself from Ewan?
Or had she already fallen into the clutches of his love and passion?
But the biggest question was—was it just passion, or something else...?
The Cold Morning Air...
The light golden sunlight was filtering into the room through the transparent curtains of the window. Inayat's bedroom was bathed in soft light. She was sitting on the bed wearing a white silk nightie. Her breaths were still irregular, her fingers were trembling slightly.
She looked at herself in the mirror—there were light pink lines on her delicate neck, which were proof of Ewan's madness last night.
Her heart was filled with excitement and nervousness.
"Have I really become Ewan's?"
She gently ran her hand over her neck, her fingers feeling warmth.
Ewan's Restlessness
On the other side...
Ewan Suryavanshi was sitting in his black bulletproof car, but his mind was elsewhere.
He rolled up the sleeves of his white shirt and ran his fingers slowly over the dashboard.
Only one name was echoing in his mind—Inayat.
He had not gone to the office for the past several hours. His mind was wandering.
"I touched her... I made her mine..."
A dangerous smile appeared on his lips.
"Now she is only mine."
He swiped his fingers on his phone screen and dialed Inayat's number.
Ring...
Inayat's heart thumped. She looked at the phone screen—Ewan's name was flashing.
She knew if she picked up the call, he would trap her in his infatuation again.
But her hands automatically moved towards picking up the phone.
"Hello?" Inayat's voice was soft and trembling.
"Come to me now." Ewan's tone was commanding.
Inayat took a deep breath, "Ewan, I will meet you in the office. I am not feeling well right now."
Silence fell on the other side of the phone.
Then Ewan's deep, forceful voice came, "Not feeling well? So did I break you so much that you can't even walk?"
Inayat's face turned red with shame.
"Ewan, please! Don't say such things!"
Ewan's laughter was soft but mischievous.
"I am just telling the truth, baby. Last night you didn't separate yourself from me... you couldn't stop yourself."
Inayat closed her eyes.
"I can't come, Ewan."
Ewan said, "Then I am coming."
Inayat didn't understand what to do.
Within a few minutes, a black car stopped outside her house.
Ewan got out of the car—black trousers, white shirt, formal coat on top, and black shades on his eyes.
His majestic style was such that Inayat's heart once again beat fast.
There was a deep knock on the door.
"Open the door, Inayat."
The Panic Behind the Door
Inayat went near the door, but her steps faltered.
She knew if she opened the door, she would not be able to save herself from Ewan's clutches.
But the very next second...
"If the door doesn't open, I will break it."
Ewan's voice was threatening.
Inayat knew he could do it.
She opened the door trembling.
Restlessness and Authority in the Eyes
Ewan opened the door in a jerk and entered.
His eyes were deep and full of emotions.
Inayat took a step back.
But Ewan closed the door in a jerk and pulled her close.
"Will you still say that you are not mine?"
Inayat's breath stopped.
Her hands were touching Ewan's strong chest.
Ewan gently ran his fingers near her waist, and Inayat's soul shivered.
"Ewan, leave me..." Her voice was weak and wet.
"Never."
"I have made you mine forever, Inayat."
