Chapter 7.
A blanket of rosemary.
Dandara could not believe what she was experiencing. The pain in her mouth was real, as well as the panic that was beginning to invade her mind. The man's golden mask seemed to observe her with a mixture of curiosity and disdain. Somehow, she had to find a way out of this nightmare.
¿Why are they doing this?
The man in the golden mask showers in pain. I am not the woman in the painting. I cannot be looked at her coldly. You will find out in due time. Until then, you will stay here under my custody. Resisting is useless.
With a gesture, the man had the guards lead her out of the room. Dandara, still over she was chained to a wall.
Desperation gripped her as she tried to come to terms with her situation. The man in the mask had stared at the tooth in curiosity. ¿Was this woman so weak that removing a tooth was like letting her hair fall out? But if she felt pain, it indicated that any movement could break it.
So, she took the tooth into her mouth and swallowed it. In fact, it felt like a sweet that dissolved in her throat. It was tasteless, although there were still some bits of flesh and traces of blood stuck to the root. But otherwise, it was tasteless. Still, he could hear her sobbing.

Meanwhile, on the beach, the prince led Lucia along the shore, away from the women who had brought her. His expression was serious and thoughtful, as if he were dealing with an internal dilemma.
Lucia, lost on the beach, decided to lie down on the sand. If no one told her in her underwear, and entered the water, playing like a little girl until she got tired.
Then, she lay down on the sand, closing her eyes. I'm sure I'll have a nice tan before this is over, she said. But then, a shadow covered the sun in front of her eyes. A kind of sheet strange, rosemary-scented man fell upon her.
The girl was startled, and before she could say anything, she realized that in front of her was the prince in the silver mask. His eyes, beneath that facade, looked aquí worry as she didn't know how to interpret this performance.

In the cell, Dandara struggled to maintain her sanity. The pain in her mouth was constant, but the uncertainty and fear were even worse. Who was the man in the golden mask really? And what did he have to do with the painting?
As she tried to find answers, a guard approached the cell and dropped a tray with food and water. Eat, he growled. You'll need strength for what's coming.
Dandara realized that she had no choice but to push on and find a way to survive. But deep down, she knew that she would need more than just physical strength to overcome what was coming. She would need cunning, courage, and above all, hope.
