Chapter 8.
Encounters in the Aquatic Kingdom.
After his brief encounter with Elara and their abrupt farewell, Caelum returned to the Celestial Kingdom with many questions on his mind. However, life went on, and soon after his return, he was invited by his Trident friends to visit the Aquatic Kingdom.
The Tridents were known for their hospitality and love of fun, and Caelum was excited to spend time with them. Upon arrival, he was greeted with hugs and laughter by his friends, who took him to explore the wonders of the underwater cities.
The Tridents showed him their coral palaces, pearl gardens, and crystal-clear fountains. Caelum marveled at each new discovery, feeling a freedom and joy he hadn't experienced in the Fairy Kingdom.
His Trident friends treated him as one of their own, and there were no restrictions or barriers stopping them from playing together.
Come on, Caelum! shouted one of the Tridents, named Tritus. I'll show you how we hunt puffer fish for our seduction dances.
Caelum followed Tritus, laughing and enjoying every moment. He realized how different the Tridents were from the fairies. Here, there were no strict rules or concerns about safety. The Tridents accepted him as he was, no matter his background.
As they played in the depths of the ocean, Caelum recalled his encounter with Elara and how Mara had forbidden him to play with her. Comparing the experiences, he couldn't help, but feel a pang of sadness and disappointment. He decided that upon his return he should speak to the King of the Celestials about what had occurred.
After spending a wonderful day with his Trident friends, Caelum returned to the Celestial Kingdom. He headed to the royal palace and asked for an audience with the king.
Your Majesty, Caelum began respectfully. I would like to speak to you about something that has been troubling me.
The king, with an understanding expression, nodded. Go ahead, Caelum. ¿What is it that is troubling you?
Caelum took a deep breath before speaking. When I visited the Fairy Kingdom, I noticed that they were very restrictive. They did not allow me to play with the little fairies, and I felt that they were petty about it. They did not like the little fairies to play with those of other species.
The king frowned, clearly uncomfortable by what he heard. That is troubling, Caelum. We have always believed in harmony and cooperation between the kingdoms. I will be sure to discuss this matter with the other kings at our next meeting.
Caelum nodded, feeling relieved that he had expressed his feelings. Thank you, Your Majesty. I just want us all to be able to play and live in peace, no matter where we come from.
The king smiled and placed a hand on Caelum's shoulder. We will do our best to achieve this. Your concern is valuable and we will take steps to improve our relations with the Fairy Kingdom.
As Caelum left, the king pondered the little boy's words.
Celestial Dream. He knew that they must work to break down the barriers and foster true friendship between the kingdoms. Meeting with the other kings would be crucial to addressing this matter and seeking solutions that would allow the young of all species to grow together in harmony.
