Chapter 4.
The Mystery of the Confines.
In the confines of the kingdoms, an ancient mystery lurked in the darkness. The inhabitants of the kingdoms knew that this place was where nothingness consumed everything that crossed its threshold.
The stories of those who were sent there were lost in whispers, warnings for those who strayed from the right path and the pre-established order.
However, once every six months, the kings met to keep their alliances in force. The fairies were in charge of taking care of the crops, which were new beings of these kingdoms, while the other kingdoms were in charge of keeping their obligations spotless.
The King of the Tridents kept the oceans of the immortals impeccable, those who did not know when they would be reborn because the order of reincarnation had been sealed in infinity.
When an immortal came back to life, his power was greater than that of an entire kingdom together, so when any being from the four kingdoms showed signs of being an immortal, either due to curiosity or because he had survived the exile from the confines and had returned standing and still alive, this survivor was bound with the magic of the four kingdoms and sent to the center of the earth.
This prevented his soul from evolving and finding the other sleeping immortal who would open the way for him through the sands of time, who only appeared as a silent accomplice when these immortals were destined to meet.
The last time this had happened, it had ended in a huge battle. An immortal from the Aquatic Realm had awakened and found his sleeping immortal partner in the Celestial Realm.
That battle had been fought three thousand years ago, but before they disappeared, both immortals had blurred into the horizon of time. The mixed drops of blood and pain of both, as they died in confrontation with the four realms.
However, they left a drop that survived frozen during 700 years of abysmal winter that covered the four kingdoms as punishment from nothingness.
When that happened and the kingdoms slowly thawed, no one knew that there was a drop that still remained in a frozen cave, waiting for its time to be found.
When 302 more years passed, an earthquake in the Kingdom of Darkness caused this drop to roll and be transported among the immortal star dust of the Kingdom of Darkness to be cultivated into new demons in the Kingdom of Fairies.
That was terrible, because of all the cultivation, only one managed to hatch. The rest withered, did not bear fruit and dried up. But the one that managed to be born was called Azazel by the king of Darkness, Astorius.
Azazel began to develop very quickly; His black wings were born with him, and his fiery eyes instilled terror even in the king. That's why Astorius decided to send him to nothingness as a child, but nothingness brought him back, and the king sent him to the center of the earth, being sealed with the magic of the four kingdoms in that abyss of darkness and condemnation.
Azazel, being just a child, began to feed on fear and despair, taking hatred and repudiation of the four kingdoms, especially the Fairy Kingdom, because it was the one that had placed the most seals in that abyss of darkness, followed by the Kingdom of Darkness.
The one that had placed the fewest seals was the Celestial Kingdom, but the barrier was so strong that Azazel stopped insisting on wanting to leave. He closed his eyes for years, letting the center of the earth stop shaking because there was no longer the desperation of someone inside wanting to be free.
The child began to lose the color of his skin, his hair went from red to gold, but this was something that no one knew because no one cared if he was still alive. Everyone wanted their own harmony, even if it didn't look like something real.
