Chapter 3.
The Confines of the Kingdoms.
There was something in particular that characterized each species: they all maintained a harmonious balance. The Celestials were ruled by their king, Throne, who made sure that no Celestial fell into disorder or deviated from the rules.
Those who broke the rules were sent to the far reaches of the realms, a place where nothingness itself consumed them. No record of them was kept, as they were devoured and not a particle survived.
Unlike the Aquatic Kingdom, where their king, Lutzer, was a bit more lenient with the mess. Aquatic life was fun and offered many freedoms. The Tridents were healthy and pioneered art, music, dance, and the seduction of the forbidden, but not in a negative way.
They used music to captivate the puffer fish, causing them to swell and expel the poison that served as a form of travel and relaxation for them. However, when someone tried to go too far beyond the permitted freedoms and wanted to pragmatically investigate the motives behind these freedoms, that rebellious Trident was taken to the edge of the kingdoms to get rid of it and avoid any stain among the mysterious secrets that awaited in the ocean of the immortals.
In the Kingdom of Darkness, the demons were ruled by force, strategy and respect in a structured society. Their king, Astorius, motivated the demons to strengthen their alliance with the shadows and to dig between the fine cracks of the other kingdoms to sow discord diplomatically.
Although they were feared and respected by the other kingdoms, they used the oldest and most effective strategy: professing love and harmony to the weakest of the other kingdoms so that they would rebel in some way. Thus, they could deliver to their kingdom the secrets they were looking for and find the vulnerable points where they could attack and infiltrate unexpectedly.
On the other hand, Mara was the Fairy Queen, the only woman chosen to be queen. At first, this had not been well received by the other kings, who believed that because she was a woman she should not fulfill such a high and diplomatic role.
But this was something that Mara did not care about. She had maintained the Fairy Kingdom in an artistic way, preparing everyone to fast when the first meteor shower was going to occur, which would cause the crops to begin.
If someone had to judge others, she turned a blind eye and always tried to find the flaws in others. If someone said that something should be done in the south, she replied that why not try in the north or the west.
The Fairy Kingdom had never sent anyone to the confines of the kingdoms because its population was limited. If a fairy was sent to these places of death, a part of that fairy would die in the spirit of the rest of the fairies.
For this reason, the rebellious fairies were sent to the secret reformatory of their kingdom, located in the great tree of time. Once these rebellious fairies entered the trunk of the tree, they came out after a year with their memory at zero; and although this practice was ruthless and cruel, it was the only way to reinsert them into their small society. And as long as no one found out, that did not exist…
