Deux's POV
I can't afford to make a mistake!
The person behind this door is Champ.
I can already smell his unique scent—strong, unmistakable, and fueling my resolve.
(Bang! Bang!)
I knocked harder while my patience is thinning.
Behind me, a group of beta males and females—nurses—watch nervously, wanting to stop me but unable to do so. They know who I am. Not one of them dares to step forward.
Cowards.
Still, after the loud banging, no one wants to open this door from the inside!
Are they testing me?
Are they really going to keep me waiting?
I don't like waiting.
(Bang! Bang!)
Still nothing?
I stepped back, stretching my body with a smirk. If they won't open it willingly...
(SMASH!)
With one powerful kick, the door slams open, crashing inward with a loud thud that echoes down the hallway. Gasps erupt behind me. The beta nurses gape, frozen in place, their eyes wide with shock.
Pathetic.
"Ha! No one keeps someone like me waiting. Remember that." My voice is laced with arrogance as I glare at them, making sure they understand their place.
Now, Champ—you're in trouble.
With the specialist here, I'll force them to tell me what's wrong with you—what your weakness is, why you're here, and what exactly you're hiding from me.

Champ's POV
(BANG! BANG! BANG!)
"Uncle! His knocking is getting louder! Any second now, he's going to break your door down! You know how Alphas like him are—they don't care about rules! They do whatever the hell they want!" I whisper frantically, pacing back and forth. My nerves are on high alert.
My uncle, sitting behind his desk, rubs his temples, visibly panicking despite his best attempt at looking calm.
"I... I didn't expect this. Give me a second—I'll think of something," he mutters, his eyes darting around the office, searching for an excuse, a loophole, anything to get us out of this situation.
(BANG! BANG!)
"That damn Deux!" I groan, glaring at the door as if my frustration alone could keep it from collapsing. "Did he really follow me all the way here? What does he want? To ruin my life until I'm a miserable wreck?"
Uncle exhales sharply. "Does he know about you, Champ?"
I shook my head. "I doubt it. As far as he's concerned, I'm still an Alpha."
Uncle's face hardens. "Then we have no choice..."
"Wait. No choice?" I repeat, panic creeping into my voice. What does he mean by that?
He wouldn't—
He wouldn't tell Deux the truth, would he?!
Is he about to betray me?!
Oh, no.
(SMASH!)
The office door slams to the ground with an earth-shaking THUD, and both Uncle and I flinch in unison.
We turn toward the now doorless entrance, where a towering figure stands ominously.
A few agonizing seconds pass before the figure starts moving, his powerful strides carrying him into the room like a predator closing in on its prey.
Deux.
His face is unreadable, but his eyes are locked onto me—sharp, unblinking, murderous.
Oh, great. He's going to kill me!
"Ah, umm..." Uncle clears his throat, forcing an awkward smile. "How can I help you? If I'm not mistaken, judging by your stance, aura, and—well, everything—you're the Alpha Prince, aren't you?"
Deux doesn't even glance at him.
"I am." His voice is calm, but his gaze remains fixed on me, unwavering.
I feel a bead of sweat slide down my temple.
Tsk.
What now?!
What is Uncle planning?
And more importantly—what is Deux thinking?
His expression definitely spells trouble.
Does he already know my secret?

Deux's POV
The moment I stepped into the room where Champ had been hiding, my gaze immediately landed on him—sitting on a white hospital bed, draped in a flimsy, nearly see-through light blue lab gown.
The gown was... short. Too short. It barely reached halfway down his thighs.
And those thighs...
My eyes involuntarily trailed lower, slowly taking in the sight of his pale, smooth, and—damn it—biteable legs.
They looked so soft... so tempting... like they were just waiting for me to sink my teeth into them and leave my mark.
Then there were his knees, slightly flushed with a delicate pink hue that only made them more irresistible.
And—oh, great.
Because of that thin excuse of a gown, I could clearly make out the outline of his chest.
It wasn't as broad or defined as mine, but it still had a noticeable shape. And since his skin was ridiculously fair, it stood out even through the fabric.
My eyes unwillingly focused on a particular detail—
His nipples.
A soft, pinkish hue, barely visible but definitely there.
And because of how small that damn gown was, it felt like it was teasing me.
Provoking me.
Then—his neck.
Now more visible than ever.
I could already feel my teeth aching at the mere thought of sinking into his skin.
Left. Right. I could mark both sides if I wanted to.
I was this close to completely losing it when—
"Umm, excuse me, Alpha Prince, how may I assist you?"
The doctor beside Champ spoke, snapping me out of my wild thoughts.
I blinked.
And just like that, it was as if my soul had traveled to another realm for a moment, only to be slammed back into reality.
ARGH!
What the hell was that?!
What was I thinking?!
My focus had slipped—again.
I was staring at another Alpha.
What nonsense was my brain even coming up with?!
Taking a deep breath, I forced myself to snap out of it, regaining my composure.
I couldn't afford to be distracted.
Because now, I knew the truth.
This wasn't just some hospital room.
This was a center—and Champ was here for a reason.
With a doctor in on it.
It all made sense now.
His addicting scent...
His tempting body...
There was only one possible explanation.
I clenched my jaw, eyes narrowing as I fixed my gaze on Champ.
"I know exactly what you're hiding, Champ."

Champ's POV
"I know your secret, Champ," Deux declared, his voice dead serious.
Oh, crap.
He knows.
Or at least, he suspects something.
Is this the end for me?
Does he already know I'm actually an Omega?
"W-what secret are you talking about?!" I stammered, trying to keep my voice steady, but the sheer panic was making it difficult.
Deux smirked. "Stop pretending... I've already figured you out."
My forehead creased as I braced myself.
My fists clenched, ready to fight Deux and make a run for it if necessary.
But instead of attacking, Deux just shook his head—slowly, still smirking.
"And to think... you even conspired with this doctor?" He said, pointing directly at Uncle Henry, who looked absolutely mortified.
His lips were turning pale as Deux spoke, his entire soul practically leaving his body.
"You really have no shame, Champ," Deux continued, his voice dripping with judgment.
What the hell is he even talking about?!
"What exactly are you trying to say?!" I snapped, officially losing patience.
