After a long migration, the herd finally arrives at their new home. The herd collectively looks at the grassy plains, trees rich in fruit, and fresh water from a lake that connects to a waterfall. The varies Cyberbeasts set up shop at this new found land while Titus lays down at a nearby tree. The Trio can't help be proud of the sight of Cyberbeasts flourishing in their new found prosperity. It would seem their journey has come to an end. Leonne, feeling that he has no place in the herd unlike Tyrannos, considers leaving to found a new pride. All is peaceful until Stera notices something that worries her. She calls for Tyrannos and Leonne and shows them what she found, a Carcharovoltus footprint.
Tyrannos and Leonne sniff the footprint embedded in the ground. Upon doing so, they were able to get an idea as to where the Carcharovoltus was going. It also confirmed one thing they feared, the Trio was being followed. The Trio knew right away what must be done. They have to find this thunderous predator and warn the herd. The Trio approach Titus and show him the footprints. See their worried expression, Titus decides to guard the herd while the Trio searches for the Carcharovoltus. Bidding Titus farewell, the Trio head out in search of this predatory Cyberbeast. As they leave, one thought crosses all of their minds. Could this be one of the Carcharovoltus' they had run into before?
As the sun begins to set, the Trio follows the footprints closely. Leonne doubts that either Carcharovoltus could have survived that cave in. Stera, however, thinks it is possible that either could have survived albeit not unscathed. Tyrannos is only focused on finding this particular Cyberbeast. Luckily, the cover of night keeps the Trio hidden. That is when they notice something on the ground. Upon further inspection, it is a slain Pachyrhinotremus, an earth element pachyrhinosaur Cyberbeast. The Trio wonder what could've brought such a Cyberbeasts down and found slashes on its side and bite marks on its neck. Before they could inspect further, they hear the sound of branches snapping behind them. As the Trio hides, their worst fears are confirmed to them that one of the Carcharovoltus had survived. To make matters worse, it was the one that had slain Toro, Zeus.
