SHIINNGG

Her life flashes before her very own eyes. It shows a lot of different people simultaneously in her mind, the people that she loves, cares and protects the most… Sans, Papyrus, the Monster of the Underground, Her Loyalty to the King, her Fellow Knight Comrades, and lastly… The love of her life, Alphys. There she sees one of the sweetest, genuine, loving and caring smiles. 

“Ah… Is this it..? I had a good run.” she sighs and floats in the endless void looking up above seemingly going deeper and deeper. “I never would have thought… this is where I’ll meet my end… I’m so sorry Alphys.” closes her eyes, a little tear flies as she falls, and there she just accepts her defeat. “I’m so sorry… my comrades…” she shed more tears seeing in her vision her own comrades genuinely laughing, smiling, and caring for each other. “I should have been more vigilant…” and wipes the tears.

“Undyne! Don’t forget your spear! Here, I boosted it while you were distracted and busy with Alphys there” Papyrus appears in her vision.

“Papyrus… I’ll never forget the time you served as one of my very special Knights.” she sobs “I’m so sorry I won’t be there to protect you this time…”

“Fish, Don’t lose sight ahead and stay vigilant always, aight?” After Papyrus disappears, Sans appears in her vision smiling at her and walks away waving his hands back “You jerk…” she laughs a bit but continues to cry a little “I’m sorry I won’t be with you at hotlands…”

As she was falling slowly, not even giving a few minutes, a light shone from her face, it awakened her, wondering what it was. “Undyne… I love you. We’ll always be forever.” A sweet voice calls out for her in that light. It felt warm, sweet, and caring. She immediately understood her  situation, she panicked, and waved every little limb of her in the void trying to swim back up. It tired her, but she wasn’t giving up. The voice becomes louder and louder and it gives her every determination. “What was I THINKING? Stupid me… SO STUPID!” and there a red light shines out of her chest, her monster soul comes out even brighter than how it was normally. As she finally swims out of the void, the whole area shines red.

          「 * You are now filled with Determination 」

Outside of her own Mind, Her soulless Body kneels down on the ground, Bleeding. The Possessed Human strikes! Rushes towards her as fast as lightning and an explosion erupts on contact with her.

The Human flew far away from Undyne, and as the fog from the explosion dissipates, there she keeps her same pose from when she is bleeding, however without the blood in her chest, but with burning passion and aura to eliminate any living beings within her sight. She began to thirst for Life Force from another living-being.

“I’ll NEVER give up easily! RAAA!!!!” Her aura as she shouts sends a strong shockwave that sends the Human who is far away from her ever farther away! 

“Finally, I’ll just need to tire her out.”

“You’ll PAY for this.” Undyne points her spear at the human, as it glitches through a Bow and back to the spear.

“Let’s see how long this universe’s Undyne will LAST!” the possessed human Laughs as she summons her cleaver and rushes towards Undyne’s direction. She thought she’ll be able to take on her easily, just like how other undyne’s she have killed already, tries to pierce the cleaver towards her chest directly at her soul.

But at that moment… Undnye grins, and this sends her suspiciously uncomfortable. Upon nearing the Human’s rush towards her, she quickly disappears. The Human however continues to rush towards a wall and explodes on contact, this sent her cleaver jammed deep down the wall. As she tries to pull it out anxiously, a figure of a shadow appears behind her and a glow of thundering blue shines brighter and brighter by the second.

With nothing else to do, she looks at Undyne, seemingly afraid and full of fear on her face. Undyne scoffs and thinks that she has won, however deep within that afraid face grins back, she teleports as fast as lightning and Undyne stabs the floor that sent a thunderous circular wave, unaffecting her but burns anything that is within radius to crisps.

“Where did she go??” In her mind, her gaze sharply rotates around trying to look for her. She focuses her mind, closes her eyes, and feels the enemy’s force. As soon as she was able to locate it hidden above, she quickly summons a thundering spear, throws it in its direction and rushes at the lightning speed, unable for the human to predict.

“GAHH!” She appears as she’s been pierced through from her left arms, not even a second of being shot, her face lit up again and the second spear pierces through her right arm impaling her through the nearest wall it got pushed to. “H-how?” confusedly asked as she tries to sabotage either of her arms to remove the weapon, however as Undyne takes the first step slowly, she suddenly teleports instantly in front of the Human. This made her feel scared a little bit, unable to do anything, while her own weapon is still jammed through a wall.

“S-STOP!” the human said in fear, sweats profusely as she tries to move her arms around “s-stop please…”

“Do you think I’ll fall for this trick again?” She shadows over the human, summons her spear to send a final blow however as it tries to wiggle her body around Undyne notices a familiar presence… a presence of a human. She felt this is different from the current aura she’s been feeling from the outside.

          「 * You banged through the barrier asking for Help. 」

“What is this feeling?”

          「 * You tried relentlessly banging towards the Barrier calling for help. 」

As Undyne tries to put her focus on the presence of the one within the human calling out to her, the one possessing took back control of the body, rips both of the arms forcibly from getting impaled and pushes Undyne back in just a matter of seconds.

“AGH!” She fell on the puddle, and  the human rushes towards the jammed weapon at the wall from a far, as she’s rushing regrows the host’s arms back and rips the cleaver out of the wall forcibly, with that strong strength the wall gets sliced easily, the human spins around as the cleaver slices through reality. It splits in half and glitches.

Undyne almost got cut and was able to duck in time “WOAH” as the human finishes its spinning, it laughs sinisterly from the distance as she stands up from the puddle of water. “This ends… now” She rushes, releases a crater from where she’s stood, and flashes towards the human with a thundering spear on her right Hand ready to pierce back again at the human.

“I’m afraid our time has run out, Undyne.” the human giggles

Undyne, not caring of what the human says, continues to rush forward, with the confidence of the human standing there hoping that she’ll stop, well it's just her thoughts after all. 

          「 * You banged through and through until your voice could be heard even just for a Little. 」

          「 * You Acted.」

Henry from within sends a huge red wave from its host’s chest that makes Undyne who’s rushing forward sense a different presence. She snapped, quickly switched her weapon that’ll not kill the Host but a lightning just able to separate the one possessing within.

Her hand touches Henry’s chest, and in a split second, a thunder flashes from above. It electrocuted them both in the scene, and the stronger it gets the more it becomes visually correct to her that someone is possessing the Human from within.

She maxed out her thunder’s power outage even getting stronger that it shone the brightest light in that alley just outside Undyne’s home they were fighting in. This helps get the two souls from the host’s body split, however they are also burning slowly from the thunder. But… It's a different case for Undyne. Her body starts to melt, her armor slowly melting away, even her arms melts.

“Ha…Ha… looks like… urghh… you're about to reach your end?” The human is even able to strike up a few conversations and giggles despite every inch of its skin getting burned from the power of the lightning strike.

“I won’t… STOP! RAAA!!!” She even pushes her limit even more and sends an even greater thunder that is able to pierce through the skin of the human peeling off by getting burned that it reached the very layers of flesh, bleeding slowly. Her eyes burn with fiery passion as she continues to scream louder.

However, Undyne seems to be at a dangerous point, and her body slowly starts to become like a candle melting down. It might be sweat, however it's actually her skin melting. There her thunderous strike’s power gets weaker and weaker as she tries to balance out her life’s essence and continues to strike the human. She pushed her with all her might, and there Undyne gets stopped at using her power and her melting stops.

The Human tries to breathe for a while, standing up with its legs still trembling using the cleaver as a cane to support her weight walks slowly towards Undyne’s body lying down on the ground, tired, and restless.

“End me…” Undyne with her trembling voice, closes her eyes… and finally accepts her very own… justified defeat. “I’m sorry… Everyone.”

As the human raises the cleaver high above creating a shadow above Undyne’s face, she notices a spark from afar. A bright yellow blaster shoots at the Enemy’s direction, sending it off far away from her body.

She hears steps running towards her as she closes her eyes, defeated, but still alive. “A-are you alright Undyne??” the last words that she hears before she collapses.

“QUICKLY! Send her to Alphys, I’ll shield you guys. GO GO GO!” a few more words that she heard as her eyes closed. She now only feels her surroundings, feeling being carried, running, and breathing. She’s tired, she sleeps on the person’s arms that’s been carrying her.

There… Her vision completely blacks out and nowhere feels her surroundings or even feels her very own skin.

After a few hours, she finally opens her eyes. Wakes up, lying down in bed, with multiple small tubes pinned through her different parts of her limbs. She changes her position, tries her chance to sit on the hospital bed when a Nurse passes by her room. “S-SHE’S AWAKE! DR. ALPHYS SHE’S AWAKE!” and there the Nurse runs away.

She barely notices the nurse, and looks around the room, see’s her broken armor on the sofa chair and flowers at the night table beside her bed. She looks at her hands, seeing it permanently melted and looks at the opposite hand, same situation. She touches her face and feels even more skin melted down.

“UNDYNE!” The same sweet voice that called towards her in her vision when her life flashes her eyes appears at the door of her room, catching her breath, panting from running too fast “W-WAIT!! DR. ALPHYS!” the nurse pants as she catches up to the Doctor.

“A-Alphys…?” she looks at her, Alphys at the door, sobbing down, trembling legs, walks slowly towards her but that pace changes and she eventually runs, jumps at Undyne and hugs her sobbing “W-WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!”

“I-I’m sorry…” she hugs her back, and cries a little “I had to…”

“You didn’t HAVE TO!” she wails at her, sobbing down, and she stops after a few seconds. Undyne comforted her back, and hugged her tightly “I-I’m okay now, sweetheart… I’m fine”

“YOU'RE NOT FINE!” she sniffs as she sobs “L-Look at what happened to you!”

“Dr. Alphys… please take it easy on the Patient…” the nurse at the side tries her best to support and make the doctor calm down.

Alphys couldn’t say a word as he continued to wail on her chest, but Undyne didn’t push her back but continued to comfort her. “I-Is it fine that you leave us for a while, Nurse?”

The nurse sighs “I-If that’s what you wish… Captain. I’ll be out here, okay? Please ring the Emergency Button if anything happens.” and she leaves the room, closing the door.

“I-I thought I’ll lose you. A-And… I can’t think of h-how I’ll live without you!”

“I’m really sorry…” Undyne’s tears fell down her cheeks towards her chin dropping onto Alphys’ head. “I have to protect the Underground… a-and.. I’m the only one left of the Knights… I got so scared…” she hugs Alphys tight “I’m also scared that I’ll leave you without even telling you…”

“I-its alright… as long as YOU WILL GET TO LIVE!”

“I will, My love…” she pats her head

“L-Look at you! Look at these permanent damaging scars…” she held Undyne’s hands and observed the skin that’s been melted. “Does it hurt that I.. touch it?”

“N-not at all… It still feels like… my own skin. But melted… You know?”

“And YOUR FACE!” she held her face, feeling every inch of the melted skin. The lower part of her eyes are melted, her cheeks, even her fins. Her hair decreased too, almost showing the scalp at the front. She hugged her back tightly again. “P-please… don’t ever go away like that again…” and sniffs

“I won't, my love. I’ll be here with you now. Okay?”

“Hang on a second…” She wipes her tears, blows on her napkin, stands in front of her and raises her arms. “I’ll get you in a better shape in a bit”

“N-No! Don't you get so tired after doing that?” Worried Undyne tries to stand up to stop her “please… I can still live like this, see?” She then stands up straight, but after a few seconds her joints on her legs tremble and almost fall down, but Alphys catches her.

“My Love, please, you need this more than I do.”

“But…”

“No buts, now let’s get you back on your bed and sit down.”

She twiddles her fingers while she sits down on the edge of the Hospital Bed, and looks at Alphys’ direction as she moves back to the position when she raises her arm. A bright green light shines from her hands and shines directly at Undyne. During this process, Alphys rewinds her Physical Form back to before she has melted. Every loose inch of skin that is melted on Undyne’s body suddenly moves becoming so soft and moves back slowly towards its position.

However, as she looks at Alphys. She sees her sweating profusely, groaning of the constant release of Magic from her Body. She hasn’t exactly released this amount of magic before, and it looks like her melted body is causing her even more amount of magic to be released.

Alphys felt a hand touch her shoulders, gasped a little as she opened her eyes, looked at the hand and rolled her gaze towards her face, Undyne’s. She sees her smiling instead of feeling dread that her very own skin is melting. “Its okay, my love”

She sighs, lowers her arms and the magic stops from releasing. Due to this, her legs tremble as she stands there, falling front towards Undyne, luckily she catches her before she could even fall down flat on the floor. “Let’s get you rested on a chair” she carries her as her eyes look droopy, feeling tired from all the magic released in a matter of minutes.

“I’m… sorry…”

“For what?”

“I-I should be the one taking care of you…” she blushes of embarrassment “AND LOOK! Y-you are taking care of me…"
