Chapter 3.
Hole.
The Lico sisters were shocked. ¿How had they gotten here after receiving that card?
It had been a death sentence and now they knew it, but the waves continued to advance ferociously like a raging sea that made it difficult for them to continue holding the brick over their heads, so one of them asked, looking for answers: we have the key, ¿ but where do we have to put it to get out of here?
And then, the voice answered: look carefully for the hole and be careful that it is not a human's; it seemed that sarcasm and irony were on the same hand as this mysterious voice that in turn seemed familiar to them, but it was extremely difficult to look for something while trying to hold a brick with that dizziness that the movements of the floor produced in them.
So, Melanie, with her throat hurt, said to her sister: wait a minute, he said to be careful, that it wasn't a human's, which could indicate that, in fact, it has to be an orifice of the human body, and the only person who can access his orifices at the moment is the one who exploded, so he tries to put the key in his eyes or in his nostrils.
Her sister thought about it and said: you're right, and she went to look for these parts in the destroyed body, but her nose was not in the body, it was at the other end of that room... the head was completely destroyed due to the explosion, so, while Julie tried to fit the key in one of these holes, the recording of the call that the girl called Angie had made, who had died some time ago and that she as an operator had attended, began to sound through the speakers making the operator's heart not only wrinkle, but her lips tremble as she remembered that innocent life...
Her sister, upon realizing this, said to her: Don't fall for manipulation, don't drop the brick, please, however, it seemed that a Teleprompter had opened and the report that the woman called Glades had made reporting the disappearance of another woman called Emily, in effect, the mother of the girl that the operator had attended to, began to play...
And although the women were impressed by what they were seeing…they didn't let go of the brick, until at the end of the recordings an image was completely captured: it was Emily in the sunflower field, dead; and Glades being exhibited as the woman with the last breath of life…
The sisters never ceased to be amazed because when that video on the screen turned off, they already knew exactly who it was that was speaking through the speakers, because In the video, these women had repeated his name several times and he had even introduced himself as an artist: it was exactly Chester Valt, the guy who had kidnapped them through this invitation with a Red Letter to this place, which seemed more like a human carnage where they were at their limit, not only because of how dizzy and tired they were, but because they seemed to be clinging by an almost non-existent thread to each other's lives that seemed to falter with every second.
