Cant you sleep?

Millie had tossed and turned for the last hour.

Luna was worried. How would she be able to visit Millie's dream, if she wouldn't sleep?

They lay side by side, on Luna's bed. Millie was nervous, but not about the dream! Didn't Luna realize, how she felt? To be laying in bed with someone she had feelings for and trying to sleep was impossible. If Millie just thought of Luna as a friend it would be easier.

Was Luna having trouble at all?

I just cant relax!

Was Millie worried about the dream? Scared what she might find out? Luna couldn't blame her for that! It was most likely going to be something troubling!

Luna wondered how she could help Millie relax!

Do you need a hug? - Luna asked sitting, but when Millie turned to look at her, her heart skipped a beat. What was that look?

Luna?

Yes?

Why are you helping me? - Millie sat up.

Damn! Why did Millie have to look at her like that? - Um!.... Well I want to help you!

Why?

I care about you! - As Luna said those words it hit her! The ache in her heart finally surfaced! She really did like Millie, she couldn't hide the fact from herself any longer.

Is that all?

What was Millie asking? - What do you mean?

Are we just friends?

Do you want to be just friends? - Luna held her breath for Millie's answer.

Millie, turned away shyly. - No!

Luna let her breath out slowly. Was Millie saying she wanted more? She cupped Millie's cheek and slowly pulled it back to face her! - Millie? - Luna leant forward and kissed Millie's soft lips. When she drew back there were tears in Millie's eyes.

Millie gathered her courage - Luna if I stay here, can we be together?

Was Millie serious? Luna felt her heart beat faster! - Are you going somewhere?

I don't know!

Now it was Luna's turn to tear up! - I don't want you to go anywhere! Please stay with me!

So, do you like me too? - Millie's heart raced in hope.

Too! That wonderful word, filled Luna's heart with happiness! - Millie! I like you so much! If you stay with me, I will give you my Heart!

Millie burst into tears again, but this time they were happy tears. She threw her arms around Luna! - Thank you!

They clung to each other, too emotional to speak!

Luna pulled Millie down so that they lay face to face! Then started to place kisses against Millie's wet cheeks.

Millie moved to bring her lips to Luna's.

They kissed soft and slow, each expressing the feelings they had for each other.

Then Luna pulled Millie into her arms, stroking her back! - Sleep now!

Emotional exhaustion, finally caught Millie in its grip. Comforted in Luna's embrace, she drifted off to sleep.

Little Rose felt warm in her fathers embrace, as he cradled her on his hip. She looked up into his face, as he smiled at her. She felt safe and loved!

It was a cool day at the park. Her mother was packing away their picnic.

Would you like me to push you on the swing, My little Rose Bud? - Her father asked.

Yes Daddy!

He placed her down on the swing, and instructed her to hold on tight. He placed a kiss to the top of her head, then proceeded to push her. Not too high, just enough so that her little feet rose up into the air, making her giggle!

After a while he placed her back on the ground and she ran to her mother. She was caught up in a hug, her face covered in kisses.

Was that fun, sweet Rosie?

Her mother hugged her tighter, she squirmed free, giggled and ran back to the swing.

Her parents packed the car.

Happily she pushed the swing, watching as it swung back and forth.

Growing bored of the swing she had wandered away, down a pathway towards the sound of a stream.

The tinkling water, called to her. She stepped out onto a rock, and bent down to trail her fingers in the water.

Her mother and father were calling out for her. She tried to call back! But they couldn't hear her. Twisting to return, her foot caught between two rocks and she fell. Pain shot through her head! She could hear her parents desperate calls before she blacked out.

When she regained, consciousness, she was being carried by a stranger, from a large building. Her head was still sore, she reached up and could feel a bandage there.

She was frightened, she couldn't remember anything. Where was she, and who was this strange man carrying her? Did she know him? She began to cry!

Millie awoke to find, Luna watching her with concern. Her cheeks were wet with tears! Her heart racing!

It was barely daylight, they could only just make each other out, in the darkened room.

Are you alright? - Luna stroked away the tears.

Not really! - Millie concentrated on slowing her breathing!

Come here! - Luna drew her into her arm's. Lovingly stroking her back! - Just rest for a few minutes!

Slowly relaxing in Luna's embrace, Millie let the memories of her dream wash over her. She had remembered more this time! The fog in her mind was slowly lifting!

What had happened to her when she was a young child? She was convinced now that the couple in her dream were her true parents! But how was she separated from them? And why had she grown up with a different mother? There were still too many questions!

Luna?

MMm?

Did you see everything too?

Yes! Do you want to talk about it?

You were right! I did see a lot more this time! I am sure something major happened to me, and I think the head injury, made me forget!

That has to be it! But the problem is, you might never get your full memory back! It is amazing you even have this much! - Luna gazed at her sadly.

When Millie, didn't reply, Luna turned Millie's face to hers. - Did you get any clues?

Something was playing on Millie's mind! - I saw my parent's faces this time, and there is something about my Father's face!

What is it? - Luna sat up, pulling Millie with her. She couldn't hide her excitement and hope.

I think I have seen him before! - Millie struggled to remember.

Where?

I don't know! I cant figure it out! Maybe I am just imagining it! Wishful thinking!

Luna squeezed her hands. - Don't worry, It is a start!

Millie sighed.

Lay down, it is early! Lets get some more sleep! - Luna pulled her back down. - The Cafe will be shut today. I am looking forward to a sleep in!

Millie nodded, - OK! - Snuggled in Luna's magic arms again, Millie wished she could stay there forever! Gradually her mind calmed. She fell asleep.
