Sitting up in bed with a start, Millie's heart was pounding.

Not again!

She hadn't had this dream for months!

She had hoped it had gone for good!

Why now?

Was it because she had been so emotional lately?

Was her mind bringing up these past Dreams for a reason?

It had been the same again! The same dream she had had since childhood.

She had seen the faces of two stranger's. They were stranger's to her, but somehow they knew her. The woman had kissed her cheek and called her sweet Rosie! The man was calling her, his little Rose Bud! They had been loving towards her!

Only this time, things had been different! The tone of their voices, seemed more distressed, desperate. As if they were searching for her! Desperate to find her!

She had never understood this Dream, it was a total Mystery! And this time also upsetting! Why were these people calling to her? And calling her by a different name?

She recalled telling her mother about the dreams, when she had been around 8 years old, and again at around 12. She had always said, it was because she ate too much Chocolate before bed. Or that she was staying up too late, getting too overtired!

Eventually she had just accepted the Dreams, they hadn't been too frequent after all.

All of this had her thinking about her mother, the beautiful lady who had bought her up with so much love. Tears filled Millie's eyes! She felt so lost and alone without her mother!

It had only been 6 months since her mother had passed away from Cancer. Millie had had a hole in her heart, ever since.

She had cared for her mother for almost a year, before she had faded away through the night. Leaving Millie distraught. She had no other family! She was now alone in the world.

She had been crushed, the walls of her world had caved in. She had been unable to function! Curled up in the darkness, of the only home she had ever known. Until a neighbor had found her, and pulled her out into the light.

Those couple of months were a blur now. Somehow her kindly neighbor, had found her this carers position with Dusty, through a friend of a friend.

A Man called Garvin, was looking for a Carer for his Deaf nephew! She was young with some carers experience. Good at house keeping. Didn't need to be paid a high wage! The position had included all room and board, and was situated in a quite beach side town. It had seemed perfect, a place to hide away while her heart healed, and she decided what to do with her future.

The inheritance wasn't much, but she could invest it, and sit on it while it grew.

It had been hard at first, getting to know Dusty's routine, and learning some sign language. But she had eventually settled in, keeping herself busy! Each day passing by, one blending into the next.

Until a couple of weeks ago!

She had answered a phone call, and her whole world had changed!

She hugged herself and tears fell again! Her head ached!

Oh God! It must be PMS! Why was she so emotional?

Ever since she had met Luna!

It was Luna, the one she suddenly found to be her whole world! The one she just couldn't seem to stop thinking about!

Had she just needed someone to cling too?, and Luna had been the one to show her a tiny bit of kindness, in her broken range of vision?

She knew now she had feelings for Luna, after that night on the beach! That night, when she had discovered Luna's secret!

Her whole life, she had never even thought, someone as miraculous as Luna could possibly exist. Her knowledge of the universe had been thrown on its head.

Why had Luna befriended her, been so kind to her?

Her broken heart had started, to be stitched back together! The cocoon that surrounded her, had started to unravel.

But now, that initial happiness had turned to worry!

Did Luna feel anything for her?

Since that amazing night, when they had lay in the sand kissing! Luna hadn't touched her again. They had spent time together, had laughs and fun, but Luna had been sure to keep things light!

Did Luna regret, that night?

Millie, had a longer shower than usual that morning! Letting the water wash away her tears, and her troubled thoughts.

She put on a pretty dress and let her hair fall loose! Put a coating of Strawberry Lip gloss on her lips, looked in her mirror and forced a smile. Sighed, and went to start breakfast for Dusty.

Not far away Luna, on her way to the Cafe, made her way up the beach!

She frowned, trying to wrap her head around what she had seen last night, when she had walked into Millie's Dream.

Star walked a few meter's behind! Luna was walking quicker than usual. She was either trying to have a work out, or she was troubled!

It had to be the later, Luna was already, more fit than any normal girl after all.

Something must be wrong!

Was it to do with Millie? Could he offer her advice, like she had to him? He wasn't as good as her, but he should try!

For the first time in his life, he had a reason to stay right here. If he could help her find that reason too. They could both, finally put down roots, and find happiness!
