Giving Dusty a peck on the cheek, Star climbed from the bed.

I have to go! - He whispered into Dusty's mind.

Dusty opened one eye!

I will see you later?

Dusty nodded, and smiled.

Star picked up his glasses and the flute as he left. Ran down to the waters edge, and flung the Flute out into the sea. Would it stay there this time? He had no way of knowing, but it had helped him last night, and he was thankful!

Luna sat eating a bowl of cereal, as her brother walked in the back door. She was instantly suspicious, he was still wearing the same clothes as last night.

Anything you want to tell me? - She asked when he looked her way.

Not really! - Was his reply. Continuing on to his room.

She frowned, it was starting again. Who was it? Was it a one night stand? She prayed it wasn't. That it was something better for Star this time!

Getting up she rinsed her bowl and spoon and placed them in the drainer.

I am heading to the Cafe! - She called out.

OK, I will see you there soon! - Was his muffled reply.

She lay in bed, staring at the beautiful Rose Bud, in a glass next to her bed! The petals were starting to open! A soft sweet fragrance drifted to her, and she breathed deeply. She smiled! Luna was on her mind again! The beautiful new neighbor, with golden eyes! Touching her lips she remembered that kiss, and the confusion she had felt.

Did Luna like her? It felt nice to be treated with some affection! But could she think of Luna as more than a friend? And did she dare, to stay here long enough to give it a chance?

Dusty stood looking at his bed, it was a crumpled mess! Would Millie notice? Oh well, there was nothing he could do about it now! He felt sore and tired! But happy!

He held a hand to his Heart, just thinking of last night, made his face heat, his heart flutter. What was happening to him?

It was all unimaginable, indescribable, incredible! Things like this only happened in his novels. Not in real life! Magical forces were purely fictional, weren't they?

But he could except it all, if he could have that night again. If he could just lay in Star's arms again. Melt beneath his touch! Feel the electricity, from Star's eyes, spark his senses!

OMG! He had to calm down! Take a deep breath! He could feel his emotions rising, tears begin to form! This was not normal! He walked to his shower! Turned on the taps, stepped in and cried. For the first time, in forever!

Star was waiting for the Door Bell! He was watching as Dusty walked in! Dusty was watching him!

Dusty took one look at Star standing at the Kitchen Door, and felt a tear form! What was wrong with him! He should be smiling, to see Star again! He was a mess today! He knew he was, but didn't know how to change it!

He hurried to take a seat outside. Maybe he shouldn't have come today! Should have let his feelings settle at home.

Star saw that stricken look on Dusty's face! It was his fault, he knew it was! He had done too much, too soon! It had been Dusty's first time! He should have been more patient! Was Dusty hurt?

Star turned and walked into the Kitchen! He had been so happy a minute ago. Waiting to set eyes on Dusty's face. Now it had all been shattered, with just one glance, one tear!

Luna placed a small Latte in front of Dusty. He didn't acknowledge her. Just sat staring out to sea.

Did Star think, she hadn't seen that exchange? She wouldn't notice?

So it was Dusty! The one she would have least expected, to be his type. How had it happened?

It was too late, to change Star's mind now! She could feel the tension between them. She had seen the raw emotions, plainly on their faces.

Yesterday their brief exchange, had had them both smiling. But today it was different! What could have happened overnight?

Ducking into the kitchen, Luna stood hands on hips. - What is it? What did you do?

I thought he was fine! He seemed fine this morning when I left! - Star was miserable.

You didn't.....?

Star nodded, guilty.

Star, he is young, not to mention deaf! - Luna was ashamed of him.

I know!

And how long have you known him?

Um, 2 days! - Even to his own ears, it was shocking, he felt disgusted with himself!

How could you do that?

I couldn't stop! - He pleaded for Luna to understand! The weight of emotion that he didn't understand himself! - I think, I already love him!

Luna was dumbfounded! - You Love him? How can you love him?

He likes me too! I could feel it last night!

Sex is not love!

I know that! But?

It's not real! - Luna had to make him understand!

What do you mean? - Star was confused, and why was Luna so angry with him?

Sex doesn't make it a real relationship! - Luna said in exasperation.

Huh?

Look, sure you are exciting to him!

Sex is exciting to him!

But that is not a real relationship.

It wont make him love you!

If you want to build something real with him. Build a love that can last. You need to show him what love can be like.

If this Cafe and his home are all he knows! Take him outside of his four walls. Show him that life can be better.

Date him? - Star asked.

Luna nodded - Yes, take him places, give him experiences that he has never had before.

It seems you two have been fated, to find each other! There must be a reason! - Luna shrugged.

You say that you fell for him fast?  Well, maybe it is the same for him too!

But if you really want it to last, you need to do this!

If he still wants to be with you after that, you will know it is real. You may just get the love, you are wanting.

But what if he wont do it? - Star looked at her with fear!

Then I think, you might just have to, back away! - Luna felt for him. 

It was tearing him up! - Arrgg! - Star put his head in his hands. If he had to walk away from Dusty. It would kill him!

But he had to give it a try, Didn't he? He had to make Dusty see, that they needed to stay together! Find a lasting love, that they could hold onto!

Star looked at Luna with determination - I will do it!

Good for you! - She smiled at him. And prayed that her advice this time, would sink in.

Star could be stubborn, but she hoped this time, her brother would finally get the happiness and love that he deserved.

Luna pointed over her shoulder, towards the Cafe - Right now, I think there is a guy out there, who could use a hug!

I cant do that, there, in the Cafe! - Star balked.

Then I will bring him in here, to you!

He pulled her into a hug! - Thank you Sis! For everything!

When Luna tugged at Dusty's hand, and pulled him through to the Kitchen, he didn't resist! She watched as Dusty threw himself into Star's arms. Star rocking him, stroking his back.

Maybe they really are, in love! - Stranger things have happened! - She muttered to herself as she returned to fill some coffee orders.
