Floor 35 - Guardian Insurance Company

The whole floor, was a-buzz.

Dan was gone!

Josie had stopped him, when he arrived, pulled him into the Tea Room, and filled him in! He had had no idea!

Sorry I didn't say anything earlier. But I have been keeping an eye on him for a while! I didn't think, it would ever come to this!- She apologized. - Poor Finn! Is he OK?

Shaken up, but he will be OK! I am going to, look after him!

Josie's eyebrows rose! - Are you close?

I hope we will be!

Jason shrugged.

Well I am glad, someone is looking out for him! I worry about him! He is such a sweet guy, but his looks make him a target!

Jason nodded, and gave a haft hearted smile! - Tell me about it!

Oh! Head office called, they want you, and Finn for a meeting at 9am!

He should have known, this would happen! He nodded and sighed.- OK!

They met in the Elevator! Two sets of eyes locked! Two hearts fluttered! Two smiles, shone!

The Elevator doors opened!

Damn! One floor wasn't enough!

Floor 36 - Head Office

Finn and Jason, were introduced to Various Board member's, a Police Detective, and Security Officer's Brad and Nick.

They sat side by side in the board room, feeling nervous! Finn wasn't sure if it was because of the stern looking men that sat across from them, firing questions, or if it was because of Jason, sitting so close to him.

He felt Jason's hand touch his, and he took it gratefully!

Taking strength from each other, they answered question after question, and explained the upsetting events of yesterday.

When It was over, they shook hands all around!

Jason was asked to stay, so he walked Finn to the Elevator!

He had been worried about Finn! Finn's hand had been trembling in his. - I will call you, when I finish here!

Finn nodded! OK! Talk soon!

Floor 35 - Guardian Insurance Company

He wasn't sure how he felt about this turn of events!

Jason went to see Josie, as soon as he left the Elevator!

They have given you, Dan's Job? - Josie was excited!

Yes, I know I should be happy with the promotion, but.....!

I feel as though, I kind of forced the situation! What will the staff think?

Don't worry about it! They wouldn't have picked you, if they didn't think you deserved it! When do you start?

Josie beamed! - No problem!

He wished, he felt as confident as Josie! But being in this office, he felt uneasy! Like Dan was looking over his shoulder! He shivered!

He still had to tell Finn! But didn't feel right, talking over the phone! He flicked a message through! - Do you have time to go for a Coffee?

His phone dinged right away, making him jump! - Sure, meet me here in 5.

Ground Floor - Cafe

I know what you mean, about that office! It would give me the creeps too!- Finn baulked at the thought!

Will you ever visit me, there? - It pained Jason to think, Finn would avoid him at work.

Well, I will still need to bring you files!

Should I get Josie to collect them from you?

Finn's eyes bored into his, making Jason's Heart jump!

Finn slowly shook his head.- No!

Why?

Because, I wouldn't get to see you!

So you want to see me?- Jason smiled.

Yes!

Leaning forward, Jason whispered - I want to see you too! - Then added - As much as possible!

Finn grinned!

What is that grin?- Jason teased.

Nothing! - Finn laughed, nervous. Then bit his lip!

Jason groaned internally! Were they flirting? Happiness bubbled up! He laughed!

Can I get you, to bring me some files, this afternoon?

Finn's smile faltered! He frowned,- Why?

Because I think, we should start, filling that office with happy memories! As soon as possible!

As Much as Possible, As Soon as Possible! Jason's words replayed in Finn's mind! It was what he wanted too!

What did you have in mind?

Jason shuffled his chair closer to Finn. - Something like this! - He leaned in and placed a soft kiss against Finn's cheek. Then took Finn's hand in his, and kissed Finn's knuckles.

Finn's heart had jolted with that first kiss! And started to race with the second! It had been so unexpected and so wonderful! He blushed!

It took a moment for the question to register! - Oh, yes! - Then as It sunk in. - No we cant! The camera!

Oh yes, thats right!- Damn! How annoying! But then again? - Let's go! - Jason pulled Finn up!

Floor 1 - Security

Did you forget something? I have already filed the report! - Nick queried, when Finn and Jason turned up in his office!

Oh no, nothing like that! - Finn shook his head! - Thank you for everything, especially for the camera in Dan's office!

But we need a favor!- Jason quickly added.

A favor?- Nick was curious.

We want you to remove the camera! Now! - Finn blurted.

Jason looked at Finn surprised, and grinned!

Nick looked from Finn, to Jason, and back again! The cogs in his brain spinning, putting two and two together! He slowly nodded, eyebrows raised, smiling! - Are you positive? - Nick needed Finn to be sure.

Absolutely positive!

Later that afternoon Finn turned up at Jason's office! A huge pile of files, in his arms.

Do you even need, all of these?

I have no idea! Josie ordered them! - Jason shrugged and laughed!

Finn laughed - Are you two, in cahoots?

Jason took the pile from Finn's arms, and closed the door! - Maybe! - He winked!

You closed the door?- Finn's breath quickened!

Is that OK?- Jason didn't want to freak Finn out.

Finn took a deep breath! - Is the camera gone?

Yes Nick took it down!

So what are you going to do?- Finn hoped Jason would do something soon, the memory of Dan, was too vivid in this small space!

Jason took the plunge! - Can I kiss you?

Because I am about to run out that door! - Fear was rising! He was standing in the same spot as yesterday! He grabbed Jason's hand and pulled him in, then waited! Heart pounding!

Jason acted instantly, bending his head to fit his lips to Finn's! Wrapping comforting arms around him. He willed Finn's fear away! And felt it working as Finn's body relaxed against him! Thank God!

All thoughts of fleeing faded, as the kiss deepened! Finn forgot where he was, all he could think about was Jason! This kiss! And all that he had been missing, in the last 8 years!

Jason pulled back, to study Finn's face! Glazed eyes greeted him! - Are you OK? - he whispered!

More! - Was the whispered reply.

Jason happily obliged!
