Finn felt a bit chuffed, with Jason’s concern for him. - Yes I will, you can go now!

It’s OK, I will wait til you, drive out!

Waiting until Finn’s car was out of sight, Jason walked the steps to C2. He made the mental decision to Park in C1 in future.

Reflecting on his day, Jason couldn’t believe all that had happened. He could never have fathomed, these events would occur!

Yesterday Finn, hadn’t even crossed his mind, let alone his path! He had just been floating along, oblivious, in his mundane life.

Now things were suddenly, brighter. More exciting! Now he had seen Finn again! His Heart and mind had clicked into gear!

Was it his time? Their time? For happiness?

Jason was just letting himself into his apartment when his phone dinged.

It was a message from Finn.

I am home! Safe and sound!

Great!

Thanks again for today!

Finn, Can I ask you something? Is anyone else at work, or in the building bothering you?

There are a few that try, to flirt with me, but nothing too serious!

Smiling Jason, set the alarm on his phone, and plugged it in to charge.

Finn hadn’t downright refused his suggestion, maybe there was the tinciest glimmer of hope.

Putting down his phone, Finn smiled shaking his head! Who could have guessed, that he would see Jason today, and the old feelings would come flooding back?

How could he have been so wrong?

All of these years, thinking that Jason hadn’t been interested in him!

The first time their eyes had met, across the empty school library, he had felt a spark.

They had never spoken, never been friends. They had been in different circles, a different orbit! But that first look was enough, for Finn to sit up and take notice! It sounds so cliché, but that is how it happened! So out of the blue!

He had been shy then, it had been Jason that made the first move! Walking over to start a conversation. They had talked about books, movies, their studies.

But never about his modeling, never about his looks!

It had been the first time, anyone had wanted to know about the real him! What he liked, how he felt!

Of course he had fallen for Jason! And fallen hard!

They had never talked about it! But they way Jason looked at him, made his Heart flutter! Surely Jason felt the same!

When the end of year 12, approached. Fin had begun to worry! What if they never saw each other again?

The School formal, would be the night! The night, he would gather the nerve to confess!

He had dressed up to impress! Everyone was expecting it! But he was just thinking of Jason, wanted to look nice for the boy he liked.

Black dress pants, bright blue shirt! Floral vest! Hair perfectly styled, he had even worn some make-up and a pink lip gloss. It was what he was used to!

Reflecting on it now, he began to understand, why Jason had said those words!

He had, looked too beautiful that night! He realized it now! Jason must have felt intimidated, standing next to him!

Oh God! - He slumped to his bed, and covered his eyes with shaking hands. This whole time it had been HIS fault!

If only he had known! Hadn’t run away without waiting, for Jason to explain! He could have saved them both so much Heart ache!

Could they have a second chance? Get back what they had lost? All because of a silly misunderstanding?

He could remember the feeling of being held in Jason’s arms this afternoon. The comfort, the safety. The way tender emotions, had flooded his veins!

If only he could feel that again!

Jason had said, to call him ‘Boyfriend’! What if that could become reality?

The thought sent a shiver, through his lonely body! He hugged his pillow close, and grinned!
