The next day, the herd continues its migration. With every step they get closer and closer to their new home. Stera could hear the rushing and crashing water from a waterfall. Tyrannos smells water of a lake sent to him by the fresh breeze that blows in the wind. This bring hope to the herd. Finally, they would be home at last. But all is not peaceful. Leonne hears a rustling in the trees nearby and warns the others of the potential threat. Tyrannos takes a closer look but could only see a strange blue shape. Without hesitation, Tyrannos dives into the trees and tackles the threat to the ground. Upon closer inspection, Tyrannos is surprised to see the Cyberbeasts that was stalking the herd. It as another Cryotyrannus, just like Tyrannos.
Tyrannos takes his foot off of the Cryotyrannus. This is the first time he saw a member of his species. The Cryotyrannus is confused as to why Tyrannos is traveling along side his prey instead of hunting them. The Cryotyrannus puts that thought aside and introduces himself as Boreas. With his his hunting plans thrown off course, Boreas decides to take Tyrannos to show what it means to be a Cryotyrannus. At the same time, Stera notices Tyrannos' absence and wonder where he could have gone.
Tyrannos begins to question where Boreas is taking him. After some walking, Boreas introduces Tyrannos to his family. Yuki, Boreas' mate, is at first surprised to see Boreas return only to be frustrated upon seeing the lack of food he was supposed to bring back. Her attention shifts when she notices Tyrannos. Tyrannos' attentions is drawn to the sound of chirping coming from underneath him. He looks down and sees a trio of Hatchlings look up at him. It dawns on Tyrannos that this is what he is. He is a Cryotyannus, one of Cyverus' apex predators. Tyrannos is grateful that Boreas was able to show him this. Tyrannos bellows a growl of gratitude towards Boreas. Boreas decides to return the favor by showing him how to hunt. Tyrannos and Boreas leaves in search of food.
Tyrannos and Boreas begin their search for food. At first, Tyrannos points to a nearby river, suggesting that they try to catch some fish. But Boreas has a bigger prey in mind. Boreas drags Tyrannos into some foliage and hide from the prey he has in mind. Tyrannos is confused by what Boreas is searching for until his notices Stera searching for him. Much to Tyrannos' horror, it quickly dawns on him that Boreas intends to strike down Stera. Just as Boreas rushes to ambush Stera, Tyrannos intercepts and is bitten on the shoulder. Boreas is confused at first but refuses to let Tyrannos get in the way of his prey. Despite being of the same species, Tyrannos won't let Boreas or anyone else hurt his friends.
