No page this time, the musical I'm in is really gearing up so I haven't had a lot of time or energy to draw. I think I'll probably switch to posting only once a week, at least for a while. We'll see. Anyway in the meantime, here are a bunch of little sketches and doodles to celebrate Valentine's Day! They're not all romantic, just feel-good and sweet. I hope you enjoy them!
Btw, the second one is a reference to Howl's Moving Castle by Dianna Wynne Jones (the book, not the movie). My strategy when I get obsessed with an book that no one else has read is to assign that interest to my characters! XD
Far away, in a magnificent marble palace in the clouds, live the patron deities. They are the spirits of protection who watch over our souls and help us find happiness. Indigo is the Blue Spirit, the patron deity of queer culture. They are also the youngest (well, comparatively) and most rebellious deity. While most of the other spirits stick to old traditions and help the humans in the same way they’ve done for millions of years, Indigo likes to mix things up a little… which includes falling in love with one of the humans they're supposed to be protecting. This slice-of-life comic tells the sweet, funny, and sometimes sad stories of Indigo's life as a young immortal deity in love with a mortal human.
