Maldrak's footsteps echoed through the craggy mountain pass as he stormed toward the royal palace, still fuming with frustration. His pride had been wounded, but the thought of returning and reclaiming his victory kept him going. He was determined to finish what he had started, to complete the task that had been so deftly thwarted by someone—or something—more powerful than he could fathom.
As he walked, he was no longer alone. Behind him, a group of high-ranking demons, summoned by the Demon King’s command, followed in silence. Each one was a force to be reckoned with: towering, deadly beings clad in dark armor, their eyes burning with malice. They were the Demon King’s elite, bound by blood and power, their loyalty unquestionable.
Maldrak sneered at the thought of the weak human kingdom that had so easily disrupted his plans. “We’ll show them what happens when they try to defy us,” he muttered under his breath. “The Eye will see to it.”
The demons behind him merely nodded, their eyes unwavering as they marched in step. The air around them seemed to grow colder, charged with the dark magic that swirled at their very presence. This time, there would be no mistakes. The king, and anyone who stood in their way—including Kieran—would fall.
As they neared the outskirts of the kingdom, the dim glow of the royal palace’s towering spires came into view. It loomed over the landscape like a dark, foreboding castle—a beacon of power and wealth that would soon be reduced to rubble.
Little did they know, Kieran had already sensed them. His newfound "All-Seeing Eye" allowed him to perceive not only the present but also the hidden forces around him. The Eye was not just a tool to unveil hidden truths—it could pierce through the fabric of time, detecting any subtle presence in the world. It was the perfect weapon to uncover hidden enemies, and Kieran had used it to his advantage.
He stood at the royal palace’s balcony, looking out over the horizon, his eyes narrowing as he saw the approaching demons. His mind processed the details with pinpoint accuracy, his senses honed beyond normal limits. He saw them—Maldrak, the Demon of Blades, leading a procession of powerful demons. There were six of them in total, each one a living nightmare.
Kieran turned to Elara, who stood beside him, already sensing the shift in the air. Her brow furrowed with concern. “They’re coming, aren’t they?”
Kieran gave a small, grim nod. “Yes. And they’re not here for King Aldric anymore. They’ve come for us.”
Elara clenched her fists, ready for the inevitable battle. “We won’t let them have the kingdom.”
“Not just the kingdom,” Kieran replied, his voice colder than ever. “They’re after something bigger than that. We need to be prepared. If they want war, then war is what they’ll get.”
The demons continued their advance toward the palace, unaware that their every movement had already been seen. Kieran’s eyes locked onto them, studying their approach with cold calculation. He could feel the dark aura surrounding them, a presence so heavy it almost felt like a physical weight. They were powerful, no doubt, but Kieran was not one to underestimate his enemies.
“The Eye sees all,” Kieran muttered to himself, his fingers twitching with anticipation. “And now, they’ve made their move. Let’s see what they’re really capable of.”
He turned to Elara, his gaze intense. “We need to prepare. Gather what you can. It’s going to be a long night.”
Elara nodded, her expression resolute. She had seen Kieran face impossible odds before, but this—this was different. These demons weren’t just any ordinary foes. They were the Demon King’s elite, the very ones who had sent Maldrak to attack King Aldric. If they had come in force, then Kieran and Elara would need every ounce of strength and strategy to stand a chance.
Kieran’s eyes flickered for a moment, and he whispered to himself, “Let them come. The Eye has already seen their fate.”
He knew the battle would not be easy, but he was not afraid. He had fought against greater odds before, and with his new abilities, he was more powerful than ever. The demons would find out soon enough just how far Kieran Valdros had come.
As Maldrak and the demons reached the outer gates of the palace, they were met with a sudden shift in the atmosphere. A stillness that felt wrong. The kingdom, once unaware of the looming danger, now stood on the precipice of annihilation. The power of the Eye had already pierced the veil, and Kieran had seen the path ahead.
The storm was about to break, and the forces of darkness would meet the wrath of someone who was no longer just a threat—but a force of nature.
It was time for the Crimson Eye Sect to learn the price of their arrogance.
Despised for his frail and weak body, Kieran was abandoned by society the moment he was reincarnated into a world brimming with power and magic. Betrayed by the very Goddess who summoned him, he was cast into the cursed Ruins - a place where no one had ever returned alive.
But fate had other plans.
Facing imminent death, Kieran unlocked a forgotten power: the fusion of Light and Dark Magic, an ancient force thought lost for thousands of years. Against all odds, he defeated one of the ruin's legendary beasts and ascended to unimaginable heights, surpassing even the mightiest wizard in history.
Now revered as the God of All Magic, Kieran seeks vengeance against those who shunned him and aims to reshape the world that once condemned him - but will his newfound power be enough to conquer both gods and fate itself?
