The King's eyes widened in disbelief. Boundless. Unfathomable. The words repeated in his mind, and yet they made no sense. There was no record of a status like this-nothing even close to it in all the history of Veldrath.
The term Boundless referred to something that transcended limits-something that no mortal or god could even imagine. And Unfathomable meant that Kieran's power was beyond any measure, beyond any comprehension. No one had ever witnessed a being whose power reached such unimaginable heights. It was as if Kieran was a living legend-no, a myth made flesh.
"What are you?" the King finally asked, his voice hoarse with awe and fear.
Kieran's eyes, glowing with that red ethereal light, locked onto the King's. His expression was cold, merciless. "I am the reckoning," Kieran replied softly, his voice carrying the weight of an ancient truth. "You should never have crossed my path."
The King, now fully aware of the calamity before him, swallowed hard. The entire kingdom stood on the edge of annihilation, and he knew it. But before he could even react, Kieran stepped forward, effortlessly evading the guards who tried to restrain him.
Kieran's hand moved upward, and in the blink of an eye, a powerful wave of energy erupted from him, sending the guards and their weapons flying through the air like ragdolls. The force of his attack rattled the entire throne room, the walls shaking with the intensity of his fury. The King's throne cracked under the pressure, but still, Kieran remained standing, his eyes never leaving the King.
"I do not need your permission," Kieran said, his voice dark, a distant echo of the wrath that surged within him. "And I do not seek your approval."
The King, trembling, stepped back, his hand raised to try and maintain some semblance of control, but Kieran's power was now undeniable. He was no longer the man who had wandered aimlessly through the ruins, nor the weak soul who had been cast aside. He had become something far more dangerous.
"I've come to claim my place," Kieran continued, his voice growing louder, resonating with the force of his power. "I will take what is mine, and the world will bow before me."
At that moment, the mark on Kieran's forehead-the Infinity Symbol-glowed brighter, filling the entire throne room with its divine light. The air itself seemed to quake under the pressure of Kieran's wrath, and the King knew that this was just the beginning.
Kieran's path was set. The King, the Dukes, and all of Veldrath were merely stepping stones on the road to his vengeance. The world had awakened the god within him, and there would be no turning back.
"I will not be bound," Kieran whispered, his voice a promise. "The gods have chosen me."
And with that declaration, the fate of the capital, and perhaps the entire world, was sealed.
Despised for his frail and weak body, Kieran was abandoned by society the moment he was reincarnated into a world brimming with power and magic. Betrayed by the very Goddess who summoned him, he was cast into the cursed Ruins - a place where no one had ever returned alive.
But fate had other plans.
Facing imminent death, Kieran unlocked a forgotten power: the fusion of Light and Dark Magic, an ancient force thought lost for thousands of years. Against all odds, he defeated one of the ruin's legendary beasts and ascended to unimaginable heights, surpassing even the mightiest wizard in history.
Now revered as the God of All Magic, Kieran seeks vengeance against those who shunned him and aims to reshape the world that once condemned him - but will his newfound power be enough to conquer both gods and fate itself?
