The next day, rain pours as the herd passes by a canyon. The Trio feel a bit tense since none of them want a repeat of what happened at the ravine. Leonne in particular hides underneath Titus in order to avoid the rain. Tyrannos can't help but chuckle at the sight of a mighty lion like Leonne trying to avoid some water like a small cat. Leonne could only take the humiliation as much as his annoyance would argue otherwise. That's when the herd passes by a ravine, one larger and deeper than the last one. Stera looks into the ravine and sees a massive flow of water at the bottom. Wanting to avoid a repeat of last time, Stera calls to Titus and recommends that the herd stays away from the ravine.
Just then, the ground beneath the herd begins turning into mud. As the ground become more unstable, members of the herd start slipping on the wet mud. The Trio begin pulling as much of the herd as they can. Stera uses her vines to lift the heavier members and places them onto solid ground. Tyrannos and Leonne focus on rescuing the smaller members of the herd, Tyrannos using his ice breath to freeze the mud and Leonne using his fire abilities to evaporate the water out of the mud. One by one, the herd is brought to solid ground but something is off. Stera turns and sees Titus slipping into the ravine. Without thinking, Stera rushes to Titus' rescue, using her vine to stop the sauropod from falling.
Stera tries to pull Titus up onto solid ground but Titus' weight makes it difficult for Stera to do so. Stera tries to anchor her feet into the ground but struggles to find her footing on the wet mud. Stera's vines begin to snap one by one as they are unable to hold on to Titus. Thinking this is the end, Titus looks at Stera struggle to hold onto him and decides to let go of the ledge. The vines continue to snap until the last one finally breaks. Much to Stera's horror, Titus falls into the ravine, his eyes closed as he excepts his fate. Stera could only watch as Titus falls to his demise. Refusing to lose Titus, Stera runs towards the ravine in the hopes that she might be able to save her foster father.
