Chapter 5

{error}

After some thought about what the strange sans said I decided that i may have a better chance at getting papyrus back, he opened up the darkness to let me walk through to the place he called where true freedom is. Now I'm standing in front of the same sanses that attacked the town. There was one I've never seen before. He was wearing a long purple coat with cyan fuzz on the ends, ripped jeans, and a crop top that had a cut out heart on the chest. He started looking me up and down every now and then his glowing heart eyes would pulse showing he liked what he saw. The big sans stood up and started growling, I can see his hands getting sharper as his one eye grows brighter. He steps closer lurching back so that he can pounce if I try to run. I felt a shiver go down my spine as he got right in front of my face, I can feel the rumble of his growls.

(lust) “baby leave the poor thing alone~” he said in a very persuasive tone

(dust) “yeah listen to your bf, horror” he yelled from behind the big sans

(horror) “he is in my territory without permission”

(dust) “horror for fuck sake i lost an arm to get this fucking asshole” he said with a growl in his voice then he whispered “boss owes me on this one”

(nightmare) “we should treat our new guest with respect horror” 

I jumped and started to swing punches towards the voice, I was stopped instantly by one of the strange sanses tentacle being wrapped along my arm. Horror stood up straight and let out a low whine as he stepped back, two of the sanses were playing with an arm trying to get it back to its proper joint and the other sans started to hug horror, his hands moving along horror's body. I gagged at the sight of it, the tentacle let go of my arm and then gave me a pat on my back.

(nightmare) “so error you have joined what my brother calls the bad sanses” he said happily “my name is nightmare, the horny ass over there is lust, big guy is horror, and those two idiots are killer and dust”

He walked over to dust, grabbed his arm and stuck it back into place along with dust getting a slap to the back of his skull. Lust waves to me as horror continues to growl at me. 

(error) “you said i can get papyrus back” i said trying not to start small talk with the others

(nightmare) “well we need ink for that so if you want your pathetic universe back then you need to help us get to them” he chucked

(error) “why does ink have to do anything about this?” 

(nightmare) “he can create aus, worlds and creatures we are all here bc he broke his universe and created this so he won't be lonely”

I thought for a second then realized that it is something gaster has tried for many years, my anger grew as i kept thinking about the damage that world hoping and universal combination can cause. 

(error) “HE NEEDS TO BE STOPPED” i yelled as the thought of me losing everything was inks fault

Nightmare starts to laugh, the others join along shortly after. Minute went by and they all calmed down, nightmare then looked at the clock that was hung over the entrance of the hall that was behind me.

(nightmare) “well boys it's late i'm going to my room i suggest you all do the same” he shifted his gaze to me “as for you error your room is down this hallway your name is on the door”

He walked past me, into the long hallway with doors that align the walls. He went about halfway before tapping a door to his right to tell me that's where my room was located. I did think twice before darting into the hallway, I studied each door as I passed by. One was bloodstained and cracked, the nameplate on the door said horror. A shiver went down my spine, I turned to see another door that was old and dusty, looked like it hadn't been touched. I shrugged it off and looked at another door that was covered in knives and jagged cuts, the nameplate said killer. I finally reached my door, I was hesitant to open it at first but I felt unwanted in the hall. I slowly turned the knob ready for what surprise they had in store for me on the other side of the door, it opened with a creak. I looked into the room and was shocked by how tidy and comfy the room was, there was a king size bed on the left, a big window that was an alcove, a big bookshelf with a desk built to the side of it, and at the end of the bed was a big blue bean bag chair. Today has been packed with events I could never predict and now I'm beyond exhausted. I walked into the room shutting the door behind me, with a long sigh I collapsed into the bed and passed out instantly.

{dream}

My city is now burning down and ink doesn't want to do anything about it, guess i can get blues help. I walked across the town searching for any kind of pain in the rubble of the fallen buildings. I don't think anyone was hurt, I'm not seeing dust or souls. There's no despair or struggle in this area, I darted out heading towards the great castle that holds the kind helpful souls. The castle is huge and is just off the side of the town, this is where i lived for years since i lost my brother. I reached the door and was met by a couple guards, cute fluffy faces they have with their tongues hanging out, covered in the strongest armour crafted by a great smith. They bent down to my level to start sniffing me, a great big dog is the best guardian you can get. With one lick to my face I was allowed in, I just wish they didn't have to do that everytime. As I walked through the doors I was greeted by a few toriels, one was bright and colorful with a pie on her head, her pink dress looked almost sticky. That is the candytale toriel, the other toriel had a crazed but sweet look in her eye. She was a tad different from the others as her outfit was not the same or her thoughts, she had a light purple dress with a matching apron that made her look like a granny ready to bake. That is sweet tale toriel.

(candy toriel) “my oh my what a mess it is out there” she panicked towards me.

(sweet toriel) “oh hush dear we both know the star sanses will keep us safe” she nudged me then went to shut the door

(candy toriel) “hmmm your right, well in other words we baked you a pie” 

(dream) “oh um thanks but i can't eat right now there's far too much work to get done”

(candy) “ ah we will get on it” she shouted out as she pushed sweet toriel out of the main area.

Now the toriels and other souls that live here in this castle shall rebuild the town that has fallen. I'm glad no one was injured but if there was some soul out in the ruble then the toriels will help them out. I walked up the big stairs trying to think of why my brother would come in like this. It's very unlike him and possibly unplanned. I closed my eyes to feel the emotions of everyone, it's still positive everywhere you look so what was he planning. I sighed and dropped down to my throne and still focused on everyone's feelings, still there was nothing out of the ordinary. I don't know what to do next, ink is off doing his own thing as blue is getting rest, maybe I need some sleep. No, I can't risk it. I must stay up for as long as I can. Mother wouldn't like me slacking off on getting nightmare back. But he's far too powerful. I can't, I can't do this alone. Tears started falling from my eyes, I quickly tried to cover my face. I don't want anyone to worry.

!SLAM!

(ink) “don't worry dream we will find your bother tomorrow” ink yelled as he charged through the door

(dream) “ink please don't yell it's really late” i quickly wiped my face then ran over to him “the guards are gonna think something is wrong and everyone else is sleeping”

Ink ignored what I had just said and instantly went straight to pacing back and forth. I was annoyed with him and slapped him across the back of his skull. Ink finally stopped and fell down to the floor still focused on something that's stuck in his head. 

(dream) “ink do you…”

(ink) “yes i got it! Dream im going to search errors corrupted world and see if i can figure a way to fix it” he yelled once more

He quickly darted out the door without another word. I sighed and fell back into my throne, I'm done for the night……..

(???) “everything is back in place”
