Sorry for going away for a month, if I managed my time better a little depression shouldn't have affected the project this much. That's no excuse though, but it would be ironic if the yaoi comic about overworking and mental health's author didn't practice what they taught. Yuuma's character *is* inspired by me though, so it's only natural...
I still want this to be fun. There have been times I've cried over how slow this is coming along, and how I can't meet deadlines like a real mangaka, but then I remember I'm not a real mangaka. I'm just a worm who wants to tell a story for fun. If I'm not having fun, then there's no point. But that would suck like crazy because we're only two chapters away from volume 2. This means, we're halfway done with gmtts!
(the first 9.5 chapters were just introductory to the characters and plot)
Next chapter the yaoi will begin to yaoi ever so gently, Yuuma talks about weight loss, and Micah gets treated for being a good boy.
After a major PR disaster, 22-year-old pop idol Yuuma Kawai struggles to stay in the spotlight and avoid graduation (retirement) all while under the strict rules placed by his mother-manager. "No smoking, no drinking, no swearing, no piercings— be perfect. To the world, you're a 16-year-old girl." Yuuma hides anything that doesn’t fit this image. To keep his youthful appearance and small frame, he sticks to a strict diet, but the pressure is getting to him as he craves attention and adoration more than ever. Soon enough, his "clean girl diet" turns more into heavy restriction.
In a last-ditch effort, Yuuma teams up with MYKZ, a rising star with a totally different style, hoping their collaboration will boost his popularity. But what Yuuma doesn’t expect is MYKZ's goal to peel back his idol persona and lies to reveal who he really is— and what he really wants.
