With the Trio leading the herd, things have been going smoothly for the first time since the migration started. Leonne and Titus guard the herd from the back while Tyrannos and Stera guard from the front. But all this walking leaves some exhausted, making them open to an attack. A Gigaloceros begins to stagger and eventually trips from the exhaustion. Little does the herd know, they are being followed. That is when an Inferno lion leaps from some nearby foliage, aiming for the Gigaloceros. Luckily, the attack is intercepted when Tyrannos fires his ice breath straight at the lions head, knocking it out of the sky. The Trio and Titus sees as Apollo's pride show themselves, their cover having been blown. The Trio stares the lions down, ready for a fight. All the while, Titus guards the herd with his size and might.

While Tyrannos and Stera fend off the lions, Leonne is ambushed by Apollo who separates him from the herd. The lions tussle on the ground before Leonne swipes Apollo away with his claws. Stera, seeing Leonne alone with Apollo, tells Tyrannos to help out Leonne only for Leonne to reject it. Leonne lets Tyrannos and Stera know that their priority should be the herd. This fight is between him and Apollo. Apollo chuckles at the fact that Leonne would refused any assistance from Tyrannos and Stera. Leonne and Apollo begin to circle each other, waiting for the other to make a move. Their eyes are locked onto each other as they prepare for an attack. One thing they know is that only one of them is going to walk away from this fight.

The lions charge at each other, fangs and claws at the ready. Leonne bites down onto Apollo's shoulder, his fangs sinking deeper into his hide. All the while, Apollo slashes at Leonne's face before lifting him with all his strength. Apollo then slams Leonne into the ground and bite his tail. Apollo drags Leonne around while Leonne kicks Apollo, trying to get him to let go. Apollo swings Leonne around before tossing him aside. Leonne tries to get up only for Apollo to sink his fangs into Leonne's side, puncturing one of his lungs. Apollo begins to scoff at Leonne, seeing him as no more dangerous than a cub.

 As Apollo is about to deal the finishing blow, Leonne remember his pride and the cubs he's raised. Leonne thinks about Tyrannos and Stera as well as the herd they live in. He realizes that their herd is no different than his pride. Both are their community. Both are their families. Leonne's body begins to surge with ether energy as he has found a new resolve, the desire to protect the those close to him. Leonne bursts into flames which spooks Apollo into dodging the fire. As Leonne steps out of the flames, his appearance is different. Leonne appears to be wearing volcanic looking armor, the heat from it burning the grass beneath him. Its as if he has gained a new power, one very few Cyberbeasts could achieve. With his desire to protect burning his desire for revenge, Leonne has unleashed a new infernal power, the hellfire armor.
