Hana led Minjun through the mansion, explaining various rooms and their purposes as they went. The tour gave him a better sense of the layout, and he began to feel more at ease in the sprawling estate.
"And this is the main dining room," Hana said, gesturing to a grand room with a long table and ornate chandeliers. "We often have formal dinners here. The butler's role in this room is crucial, as you'll be responsible for setting the table, serving meals, and ensuring everything runs smoothly."
Minjun nodded, taking mental notes as he followed Hana through the mansion. They continued through the kitchen, the library, and the numerous sitting rooms, each one equally impressive.
Finally, Hana led him to a room near the back of the mansion. "This is Mr. Sato's quarters," she said. "It's one of the most important areas for you to maintain. Keeping it tidy and organized is essential."
Minjun nodded. "Got it. Thank you for the tour, Hana."
She smiled warmly. "You're welcome. If you need anything or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. I'll leave you to get started."
With that, Hana headed off to attend to her duties, leaving Minjun to his own devices. He took a deep breath and stepped into Mr. Sato's quarters, taking in the room's elegance and understated luxury.
The room was slightly untidy, with a few items out of place. Minjun rolled up his sleeves and got to work, determined to make a good impression. He began by picking up clothes and straightening out the furniture. As he worked, he noticed a blanket draped over a chair and decided to fold it neatly.
Just as Minjun picked up the blanket, he heard the sound of a door opening. He lowered the blanket and turned to see Mr. Sato standing there, a towel wrapped around his waist and another around his shoulders as he dried his hair. The sight of Haruto in such a casual, intimate state made Minjun's heart race.
"Mr. Sato," Minjun said, feeling a bit flustered. "I didn't realize you were back."
Haruto gave him a warm smile, his deep, velvety voice carrying a hint of amusement. "I just finished my shower. I appreciate you tidying up my room, Minjun. You're doing a good job."
Minjun's cheeks flushed slightly. "Thank you, sir. I'll continue with the cleaning."
Haruto chuckled softly. "Minjun, I've already asked you to call me Haruto. But it seems you keep forgetting."
Minjun blushed even more, feeling a mix of embarrassment and determination. "I'll try to remember, Haruto. Thank you for reminding me."
Haruto nodded, still drying his hair as he moved towards his closet. "Take your time. If you need anything, just let me know." As he stood in front of the closet, he sighed. "I can't seem to find the shirt I want to wear."
Minjun paused his cleaning and looked around the room. He spotted the shirt in the corner of the room, partially hidden. "I see it," he said, crossing the room to retrieve it.
As Minjun's foot caught onto the rug, he tripped and stumbled forward. In an instant, Haruto reached out and caught him, his skin still wet and warm to the touch. Minjun's cheeks burned as he met Haruto's gaze, their faces inches apart. They stayed in that position for a moment, Minjun unable to look away, his heart pounding in his chest.
