You gulp down again in fear, taking the situation a bit more seriously. Despite, the alarms blurring and echoing within the room, CPDS-9 looks over toward you as it announces, "Though it seems you understand the situation now, I need to see if you are functioning properly, master."
You look at the droid with confusion and concern as the expression on your face tells CPDS-9 you are questioning him. The droid showcases the room as he asks, "Be my guest and move freely around the room, explore, and allow your body to calculate your movements." CPDS-9 finishes with, "Once you feel comfortable about your own body please command me to continue."
You took the opportunity to explore the room and let your body get to it's surroundings. Your senses were dumped down when you first awoke, making the situation hard to understand and to get used to, now that your senses are back to normal you can witness what the situation is.
You begin to flex your hands, then you stretch your arms up high, rolling your head and twisting your body left to right. You move down to your legs, kicking them then moving your toes. Once you realize your body is in good shape, you start to look around the area. The walls, floors, and ceiling of the room were all metallic, with long thin lights on the ceiling, but these lights were not like the ones that were flashing and rotating above the door. Despite the floor being wet from the water from your cryo-chamber, you continued looking around the room.
You first looked at the cryo-chambers, they were tall and buzzing with life, towering from the ceiling to the floor. Inside them were other living beings that looked like you, but the other cryo-chambers were filled with water and the beings looked like they were sleeping. Though they looked like they were sleeping the cryo-chambers showed a lifeline that was sending out a long depressing beep, showcasing they didn't make it.
You look at the chambers with widened eyes and your heart skipped a beat realizing the situation. You put your hand on your chest as you slowly look away trying not to think about what would have happened if you suddenly didn't come out. Your focus verts over to the desk, where the computer and chemistry materials are set, where you notice a data pad that shares information about The Black Locust.
Once you look over the information about the Black Locust your sight wanders over to the weapon rack spotting a gauntlet and a rifle on it. Your mind sets in and the first thought you come up with is to arm yourself. You walk over to the weapon rack ready to pick a weapon of your choosing, only to find out the gauntlet was malfunctioning and the rifle was jammed, unable to be repaired. You look at the weapons with disappointment and let out a long depressing sigh. You look back at CPDS-9, which was waiting for you patiently at the door, which was made of metal.
You begin to walk towards CPDS-9, it tilts its head as it asks, "Are you ready to go, master?" you nod at the droid not ready, but you have no other choice. CPDS-9 slowly turns around as it continues to warn you, "Remember I do not know what is attacking the lab, so please stick with me and you'll be fine." After the warning, it opens the door, which lets out a hissing sound as if air pressure was let out followed by metal scrapping on metal, with sparks forming on the floor.
