Getting to see the complexities of the parents' relationship through the eyes of their (admittedly bright) daughter is something that I really love about this comic. I also love how aware her mom is about how much she picks up, and how he loves his kids so immediately
Claire has always known she was different. Constantly on the run and exhibiting unique abilities, she's always questioned her origins and past. Fortunately, a tidal wave of answers in the shape of Duke Arshel has just hit her small family. Introducing himself as Claire's father, the duke exposes several more revelations that begin to illuminate the previously shadowed past of the young girl.
