The rain continues to pour on what once was a cave. Suddenly, Zeus burst his way out of the rubble and onto solid ground. Zeus looks back on the rubble and knows that Toro took Hera down with him. As rage builds within him, Zeus finds the footprints of the Trio embedded in the mud. Zeus makes a blood curdling roar as thunder roars around him before following the footprints. Zeus refuses to let his prey, and by extension his mate's killers, escape his jaws and his fury.
The next day, the Trio continue their search for the herd. Stera wonders how long it's going to take to find the herd. Tyrannos is worried they might be too late. Just then, Tyrannos and Leonne pick up a scent. Upon further inspecting, Tyrannos recognizes the scent as Titus'. Tyrannos makes a hopeful noise at Stera, letting her know that they are getting closer to the herd. This fills Stera with joy as she can't wait to be reunited with the herd. But Leonne smells something else, something other than the herd. Leonne recognizes this other scent and chuffs at Tyrannos and Stera, letting them know to proceed with caution. Not wanting to waste any more time, the Trio makes their way towards the herdin hopes to stop whatever has Leonne concerned.
The Trio eventually finds the herd as well as a pride of Inferno lions. Tyrannos fires his ice breath at the lions while Stera smacks a few aside with her tail. The lions did not expect them to show up but their priority is to snag a meal and get out. The lions charge at Tyrannos and Stera with claws and fangs at the ready. Tyrannos clamps his jaws down on some while smacking others with his tail. Stera provides support with her vines, tossing the lions around like a rag doll. All the while, Titus ensnare a few lions with the roots he summoned before crushing them under his foot. Just when it seems like they had the upper hand, a large scarred Inferno lion leaps out of a bush aiming for Stera's neck. The lion is intercepted by Leonne who wrestles it to the ground before getting slashed in the face by the lion's claws. Leonne stands with rage in his eyes for he recognizes this lion. This Inferno lion is the one who took Leonne's family, Apollo.
With rage and the desire for revenge in his eyes, Leonne lunges for Apollo ready to sink his fangs into the older lions throat. Apollo sees this an slashes at Leonne's face, throwing him off balance. Before Leonne could get up, Apollo pins him down. Apollo prepares to finish off Leonne, preparing to sink his fangs into Leonne's neck. That's when Tyrannos sees what is happening and fires his ice breath at Apollo. Apollo is at first surprised by this but quickly scoffs at Leonne's predicament. To him, Leonne is but a weak little cub relying on the help of a Cryotyrannus just to stand fraction of a chance against Apollo. Apollo calls his pride with a powerful roar before leaving. As Leonne tries to go after Apollo, Tyrannos stops him before he could do anything reckless. Tyrannos and Leonne return to Stera just as she is explaining everything that has happened, including Toro's fate. Titus is sadden at the knowledge of Toro's passing but is glad to know Tyrannos and Stera are alright. Titus decides to let Tyrannos and Stera lead the the herd to their new home, now with a new member of the herd.
